Despite having a plot as nutty as a Christmas fruitcake and some logic loopholes, "Triple Threat" is the best episode of CSI: Miami this season. The season has been sub par for the show so far and "Triple Threat" has helped get things back on track I'm happy to say. Leslie Bibb does quite well as the devious triplets. Eva LaRue gives her best performace to date. It's good to see Natalia Boa Vista take a primary role in an episode of the show rather than a back up person as she normally is. Way to go Natalia!moreless

  • Triplets, seeing double, and making doubles.

Well, this episode was certainly interesting. Poor Eric, seeing double when he was doing the blood markers. Man, the confrontation between he and Ryan was tense. I'm claiming Switzerland because I really can't make my mind up on who to feel sorry for the most.

I knew the title had something to do with the girls when we saw Ashley had a sister. Finding out that they were really triplets wasn't totally surprising but it was a good effort.

Now, finding out the husband had a double really threw me. That was good. Very original for our slowly failing writers. I like this episode. It was good.moreless

We just got this episode in Japan,so my review is later than most.

It worked pretty well until the end, when it was revealed that the baby was born by C-section. The women were shown a picture in a magazine of Ashley in a bikini, with no scar...bit 'ah-ha!' moment...we knew Ashley wasn't the baby's mother. It was used to corner the women into confessing who the real mother was. But...but...when the baby weight is off and the women switch places again, the husband isn't going to notice that his wife's scar has mysteriously disappeared? A disappointing bit of dumbness right near the end, right when you've bought the rest.moreless

  • A very wealthy tycoon is murdered while at a dinner party. The first suspect is his wife. The plot thickens when the victim isn't who the CSIs thought he was. It all comes down to the fact that things aren't always as they seem.moreless

This episode made me want to continue watching CSI:MIAMI. I thought that this particular episode's plot was quite clever. The twist with the double being murdered instead of the real guy was pretty cool, actually. At first I was in awe, then I realised it actually does happen. There were some obvious goofs, however, but I guess if a guy is distracted enough he wouldn't notice certain things. For example, he didn't notice that his wife, after "having given birth" didn't have stretch marks? I dunno.

Overall, though, the episode was very good and the actors were quite believable (I can't say the same for every episode).moreless

One of the best I've seen so far this season. The next best was No Man's Land. I was truly gripped by the plot so much that Horatio's cheesy one-liner at the beginning of this episode was hilarious: 'Its as cold - as ice!'. Who would have thought murderous triplets. I mean the twin thing was tolerable but the triplets! Wow and the cloned man and the pregnancy, trip to Africa made this what it is and that is outstanding. The ending was fantastic with the triplets walking out one by one with the man who was supposed to be dead but they killed the clone, staring at htem with his son.moreless

    • Natalia: You know, as a CSI, I spend a lot of time looking at things that to the naked eye seem identical, but aren't. Likes prints and DNA, tool marks. It's just what I do... really well. Cayla: So? Natalia: So, triplets... are no problem. I have to say, though, you girls were really good. Edit
    • Ryan: You put two markers on the same blood drop, man. Eric: I can't make a simple mistake? Ryan: That's what I kept telling myself last year. After I got shot. Eric: I'm fine, Wolfe. And I'd be even better if everyone would stop giving me the third degree. Ryan: I said that, too. Edit
    • Natalia: Okay, okay, ladies, if it's any comfort, you're all going down for murder. Beth: What's gonna happen to my baby? Natalia: He'll be raised by his father Ashley: Excuse me, his father's is dead. How is that possible? Natalia: Because I can spot differences and you three can't. Edit
