CSI: Miami

Possible Spoilers!



I just watched this episode, Holland started to repeats again... my first reaction was; "omgosh... look at how young they are!"

This episode is from like... 2 years ago, but they look so much younger! Apart from Calleigh... she looks the same age through the whole series... imo.



This is the ep where Wolfe makes his first entrance, and i really liked it!

I love it that he is a little OCD... not much at all if you ask me, but he is with a couple of things, and i don't think there is anything wrong with having a little bit of OCD in ya... ;o)



About the episode, pretty nice, both cases were about love and the using of this manipulating power... An unbalanced girl who has an OLD... obsessive love disorder :-p, a father knocking on his daughters door for help... and a daughter who tries to manipulate what happened, to safe her father.



I think Jay is a real jerk, he uses Claudia to take care of all of his dirty works, and he is even willing to plant a murder, which he committed himself, in her shoes!

With that murder, he showed her that death was the best solution to all of his problems!

I hate people like this, there really are a lot of Jay's out there, and unfortunately, a lot of Claudia's, too!



Good luck to Horatio trying to prove his case, though... i mean... that blood on the knife, used for the first murder, it could come from everywhere if it was Jay's knife... he could have cut himself before the murder, he even could have cut himself trying to stop Claudia from killing that man... Like he said himself... this woman is unstable... so again... good luck proving that Jay was the killer, and not Claudia. Now, Calleigh and her dad... i liked this, the very first case Ryan works on, and it right away could have meant the start of either a good working relationship, or a very big war between Calleigh and himself! It was a tricky case!



I liked it how he ordered her to stick her hands in her pockets... his first day at the job and he's already ordering around... and he won! She listened!



I really liked this ep, but i can't wait for the new episodes to show again.

Seeing these episodes makes me realise even more, how good of a show it became as time passed by.

A good episode with two equally compulsive plots. The title 'Under the Influence' fits both in very different ways. In the first, a woman appears to jump in front of a bus, but it soon becomes obvious that she was pushed. Cue a mad stalker story, with a woman who might do just about anything to protect the man she loves. But just how far under his influence is she and just how much is he using that influence for his own devices? The woman playing the stalker is wonderfully matter of fact, as if what she has done is in no way wrong and she cannot understand why people would think it was. There is a very neat and satisfying twist to this one at the end too.



The second storyline sees the return of the wonderful John Heard as Calleigh's father, 'Duke'. We're used to him being a bit of a lush and a strain for Calleigh, but this time he might have gone too far. He thinks he killed someone with his car, and the evidence shows that he's definitely done someone some damage.



Enter Ryan Wolfe, desperate to be a CSI, but still very green and not the one Calleigh would pick to investigate her dad's case. Jonathan Togo is good and no doubt they picked him because he was different physically to the Speedle character, but he does look a little too much like Eric Szmanda from the Las Vegas CSI. Naturally, what seems like an open and shut case turns into something a little more complicated, and Wolfe shows his credentials as a bonafide investigator. Only one wrinkle. The whole alligator in the pipe bit is bizarre. Why is it there? How come he just happens to have a roast beef sandwich for just such an occasion? Hmmm.



Good episode.

When a young woman is pushed in front of a bus the CSI team suspects her boyfriend. The boy uses a lazer to act as a gun to try and take peoples things. Someone pushed the woman. The mans colleague winds up dead. The girl was pregnant. She was 7-8 weeks. Mr. Ducaine just uncovered a murder. Caine meets Wolfe. Calleighs daddy thinks he killed someone. Wolfe is taking Speeds place. Calleigh's daddy lied to her he said he hadn't had a drink in 6 months. Weld spatter was in his tires. I believe the man was already daed because the tire marks were inconsistant with the mans falling.

I love this show once again

More than I do Las Vegas or New York

Because of the characters as well as the writing and acting

Calliegh gets to shine through for once

And it shows her more than it does the usually lead Horatio

But it introduces us to a new character named Ryan Wolfe played by Jonathan Togo

He may not ever replace the irreplacable Speedle aka Rory Cochrane

But he does come very close though!

Well there’s a lot to discuss in this episode, so I will start Callie father, I love the fact that this show not only deal with cases but with character background, the look on her face when her father said ‘he think he ran over someone’. I really like her father and I’m glad she didn’t try to hide it up.



The main case, well it’s nice to have a crazy person doing your dirty work, I can’t really blame him she was only trying to help him but it was her that caused his downfall I mean if she didn’t keep all evidence he would of gotten away with it. I got to say I really like this story line. Most of the time the case are not usually much interesting but I found it interesting because it actually keeps my attention.



The new guy, Wolf, Horatio check his guns reminds me of what happened to Speed, it’s a shame that he didn’t do that when he first hired Tim, giving him Callie father case of hit & run on his first day, wow and didn’t he do a good job, I’m glad father didn’t kill the victim but I’m glad she took away his car keys.
