    • If you look closely at the scene just after Calleigh and her dad have looked at his car and decided he's hit something, Horatio is speaking to Yelena and in the right hand corner of the screen you can see Calleigh enter the scene, but she waits behind the flagpole until Yelena exits, then she walks up to Horatio. It's a little glitch, but it's acknowledged by the director on the DVD commentary as one of the scenes he didn't block very well!

    • (Horatio nails down a suspect) Horatio: Claudia has a defense, Claudia: is insane. You, are a liar and now a killer, for you that adds up to life, times one... Two... And three.
    • (Ryan tosses his lunch at an alligator to collect evidence) Calleigh: You're crazy, you know that? Ryan: Why? For taking a little initiative? Calleigh: You could have been gator bait on your first day. Ryan: I did sacrifice my lunch, please just remember that.
    • Claudia: I love him, I'd die for him. Horatio: Yes but... Would you kill for him?
    • Calleigh: My dad's come to turn himself in, I was thinking Detective Tripp would be best. Kenwall Duquesne: My car was involved in an incident last night. Horatio: Is the scotch on your breath related to that incident? Calleigh: My dad took a drink to calm his nerves before he came in, I witnessed it. Horatio: So the blood alcohol test is not going to help us then?... You do realize you're riding the line on this, right?
    • (Alexx examines a girl killed by a bus) Alexx: We'd have a better chance of finding what isn't broken in this girl... Poor baby, both arms shattered, torso twisted like a corkscrew.
    • Calleigh: (after Ryan extracts glass off of her father's jacket) You didn't tell me there was any broken glass in the car. Ryan: What I told you was I wasn't finished.
    • Frank Tripp: (To Travis Madison, obviously guilty) I hope they saved your cot at county jail…
    • Kenwall: I think I killed someone.
    • Calleigh: Take a drink. Kenwall Duquesne: A drink? But that's what caused all this trouble in the first place. Calleigh: Drink!
