Okay CSI, if you're going to freaking torture a character like that, then you're supposed to have people actually notice. Seriously, did NO ONE realize that he was missing? Also, Calleigh and Eric were total douchebags to Ryan. This episode was a complete letdown; Nothing's really happened to Ryan except for the nail-gun thing, and it's nice to have a Ryan-centric episode, but it's a HUGE waste of time to make a Ryan-centric episode and then have everyone else be totally oblivious to the fact that he was kidnapped and tortured by the Russian mob. And I'm also guessing that this will never be revisited, meaning that it was a little bit pointless.
  • Calleigh and Eric..... and Finally someone does what I have always wanted to... HIT RYAN!!

In this episode of CSI Miami, the following happens. We open this episode with Ryan being dumped out of a van. We see him going home, getting changed and heading into work. He has to go and destroy evidence in a case, in order to save the life of his friends little boy, Billy. We also open see Calliegh and Eric (HipHuggers) going about their general morning routine, together. The case that Ryan has to work on is that of a broker who was murdered. Soon the team start to see that things with Ryan aren’t quite right, when working on the case. Soon Ryan gets hold of Billy’s father and we learn that he dropped Billy off at school, and hasn’t seen him since. Soon Ryan is planting evidence to frame the security guard of the building where the murder took place. Soon we learn that Billy has been kidnapped and that he was taken before he even got into school. H is soon pulled into the case. Soon H tracks down here the boy is being held and manages to save him before the man holding him kills him. Soon Ryan hands over a key piece of evidence which he was hiding, and both Calliegh and Eric aren’t happy with him and so they order him out of their lab area. With this new evidence we learn that the assistant killed him, because her bosses told her too.
  • Why is it always Ryan??? :-(

I was hoping for something a bit more special when I read the synopsis of this one. It was a good episode, but I feel like they've done the 'Ryan V The Rest of the Team' one too many times now. He'd no way still have a job if this was real life!

I felt bad for him though, Jonathan did a good job of making us believe that destroying evidence was very difficult for Ryan. The plot was a little contrived though, I mean I could understand someone wanting evidence of a prior crime tampered with so that there would be no conviction, but I'm not sure anyone would go to all that trouble for a crime they haven't even committed yet.
  • Poor Ryan.... always getting the short end of the stick.

The Russian mob comes back and is still after the team. They are using a case of proving a point as well as revenge to do it. But, I am getting tired of Ryan Wolfe always being portrayed as the bad cop. In this case yes he compromised a crime scene and had the team spinning in circles but he was attempting to save the life of an innocent child; a fact that was seemingly lost on both Eric and Calleigh. I found it ironic that Calleigh told Ryan he could tell her whatever was bothering him, indicating they were friends. But yet she had yet to be honest with him regarding her relationship with Eric. Horatio of course saves the little boy but still in the end Ryan's ethics and loyalties are called into question. Again.
  • This one had me both being happy and pissed off... Bottom line, Ryan stole the show. Calleigh and Delko are idiots and I hope they come to their senses eventually and apologize to poor Ryan for acting like jack***es!

This one had me both being happy and pissed off... I love the fact that Ryan got to be the main character and was placed in a place no one wants to be, forced to hide evidence in order to save a child's life.

Ryan was tortured and tried his best to gather evidence to find the place he was being held while he was still being tortured by the Russians! Which was quite clever. I was pissed off for two things actually. For some reason I always hated Delko's character. Funny that each time Ryan's in trouble, Delko's the first to point the finger and dimish him. As if he didn't do something off himself before! And now that Calleigh is with Delko, come on, she used to try to understand things better and all, heck in normal situation she would have listened to him, but now being with that jack*** Delko, she seems to have changed a lot...

Plus the fact that they were trying to reach Ryan, no one in their good mind ried to find Ryan at all. Come on, you knwo the Russians are out to get your team and you go home, sleep and not wonder where he was? What a load of bull crap!

At least H understood the situation quickly and didn't judge without hearing the why, unlike the other two idiots.

I might be Ryan biased, but funny how H always asked for Ryan's help when he faked his murder, and each time something big happens, H turns to Ryan every time. Remember finding the mole? That was ryan too who helped H.

Ryan you can depend on everytime, Delko, never. Calleigh, I'm starting to wonder ever since she hooked up with the idiot.

Bottom line, Ryan stole the show. Calleigh and Delko are idiots and I hope they come to their senses eventually and apologize to poor Ryan for acting like jack***es!
  • This episode wasn't all bad. It had its moments and I've watched it with my heart pounding. Yet voice in my head was like "something is wrong". Wolfe's in trouble and he tries to handle it by himself, which sounds a lot like him,

so this characters personality is consistent. But the show itself - its dramaticaly loosing reality.I found so many plot holes in this episode. For example - in last episode Russians kidnapped Ryan from his car. Car was left on the side on the road. In this episode Ryan is dumped from a white van at some abandoned place and hummer is nowhere to be seen there. So here's my question: has nobody noticed a police car not returning to station / parked on the side of the road for the whole night? Nobody was inerested in a missing police vehicle? Or this one: in the last epi Eric tries to contact Ryan via cellphone. Everybody on the team knows they are in danger. Ryan is a nowhere to be found and somehow nobody gets worried, they just simply go to their homes?! I'm leaving out the whole tampering with evidence thingy, cause that was also handled weird. I loved this show becouse it was so close to the real life situations and yet cool. Now it's purely science-fiction to me. CSI Miami should be more beliveable than this, like i.e. CSI NY is. Overall i'm giving it a high score 7,5. Almost naked Rodriguez is nice to watch, scenario is as always beautiful. And my sentimental soul won with my reason. For now, at least.
  • Ryan is kidnapped by members of the Russian mob and forced to destroy evidence in a recent robbery/homicide. To make sure Ryan complies, the young son of an acquaintace of Ryan's is being held hostage by the Russians.

The opening scene of this episode might be a little rough to watch. Ouch! I did like the episode but I have seen better episodes of this show. As I watched Ryan and his efforts to comply with the Russians I kept being reminded of an episode of "CSI: Miami" from last season where Calleigh was kidnapped and forced to cover up/destroy evidence in a recent murder. Plus, the dialouge of the killer at the end of the episode seemed a bit contrived and did not come across as very effective. This episode isn't terrible, but it has its problems.
  • Really felt bad for Ryan!

Really I felt bad for Ryan, as he was not just forced to act unpleasant. But was getting the you know what, beaten out of him. Better him than anybody else, as the first reviewer says. He was trying to save a child. And that killer would had killed that boy. Whether Ryan was doing what the killer, was asking him to do. Or not. H saves the day and saves Ryan. Even though I like both Calleigh and Eric really well. I didn't like both of them, in this episode. Especially Eric who came off, quite a jerk in this. Both of them are, now living with one another. Hope that the show doesn't end as when people, end up with another. That kills a show IMHO. H felt bad for Ryan it seems. In what Ryan had to do.
  • adventorous, yet a bit of a disappointment

I liked he episode alot, but didn't love it, like I usually do with every episode on CSI Miami.

I was expecting more drama, epseically with the kid, and maybe a gunfight and more physical injuries to the charachters. But no. It didn't happen, and I must say that it was a little disappointing for me. I had waited all week to see this episode (like so many others), and well, the promo for it was more exciting than the actual episode. However, this is an episode that I will want to see again. I love that they put Ryan it such a diffictult position, he was the perfect person for it. Eric probably wouldn't have been able to pull it off as well as Ryan, it's just not the kind of drama that suits Eric. And thank god that Ryan told Horatio what was going on right away, in stead of trying to hide it! Horatio saved the day, like most times, but I liked it. I hope that Ryan can take a break now from all this personal stuff, he needs it.

And Eric and Calleigh? Already sharing a place to live huh? How fun and sweet isn't that?

They are perfect for each other! And maybe we'll get to see a little gun-loving-diver-kid soon, huh.

As a conclusion I'll have to say, great episode, almost superb, but lacking a bit of drama.

    Take care ya'll!
