  • Quite possibly the worst episode of CSI-Miami I've ever seen. The acting was HORRIBLE and the story was weak. It's unbelievable that this is what you get after the writers strike.

It's unbelievable that this is what you get after the writers strike. It's as if this was written by the drunks in the alley while the writers were on strike. They need to spend less money on faking the ridiculous computer system and a little more money on someone willing to come up with believable scenarios and decent dialogue.

    1) the killer can't afford to pay his bar tab, but he can afford an automatically aimed gun mount that zones in on a little button.

    2) a gun mounted UNDER a car (8 inches off the ground), aimed at the back of a chair (2.5 feet off the ground), somehow finds a path through the bride's brain (5.5 feet off the ground)

It's usual to tune into this show and see abysmal acting... "Horatio Crane" obviously comes from the William Shatner school of over dramatizing simple situations by including retarded poses... but this episode was actually painful to watch.

    Worst.episode.ever.
  • The wedding of a high profile professional baseball star turns tragic when his bride is shot and killed during the ceremony. The investigation leads Horatio and his team to an area strip club as well as through some interesting discoveries.

The return of CSI: Miami after the Writers Guild strike was not the big return that it was hyped to be. While I was hooked on the story to see where and how things turned out, there are a number of flaws which take away from the enjoyment of the episode. Why the killer would spend such a tremendous amount of time and money when it would have been possible to commit the murder out of public view with no witnesses is beyond me. The murder weapon is another flaw. The producers have obviously seen that terrible Bruce Willis movie The Jackal.

  • A very compelling story that I found quite odd...

Because of the revamped site's new features, Im debating whether I should rate this a 9.0 or a 9.5. The one thing I really hate about the new site - the lack of pie charts for episode and show scores. Anyway, This episode really stands out from previous ones and the funny thing is, I dont know why?? I just had to review it. I mean it was really really good. It had a special spark which is why I found it odd watching it. The 'cliffhanger' though was the most odd thing. They witheld the information about the groom guy for so long and I was a little disappointed at the outcome although intrigued as to the relevance of it to the plot but it turned out it was relevant. What was not really relevant was the strip club woman literally throwing herself at Delko. It was pathetic! However this episode was not...
  • Bride gets killed. On her wedding. Happy people.

What's wrong with you people?! This was an amazing episode! And I mean it! The episodes before that were reasonable, but above average, but this one.. I loved it! I'm back in love with CSI Miami! YEAH! The intro (i mean not the character-introducing intro, the one BEFORE. How do you call that? Sorry, I'm not english-speaking. don't sue me.) was so great and so emotional. The flashbacks as Horatio walked slowly into the direction where the bride came from were such a masterly example of camera work! Very impressive. The plot was good, however inferior to the emotional aspects and the quality camera work. I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't focus a bit on Horatio (with him losing Marisol) because most of the time I'm SO annoyed that they refer to Horatio's problematic personal life every time a relative of the victim cries out on his shoulder, but this time I expected it. I even wanted it!

Well, maybe I'm just strange. But my weirdness does not change the fact that THIS was a great fantastic and touching experience (yes I don't say 'episode', it was much more --> I'm lyrical, seriously)So... WATCH IT!! :D
  • A good stand-alone episode, but what the heck with the cliffhanger?!

I was barely alive from waiting waiting for the ep to load at 3am and here we go... a stand alone. Good story -- a beautiful bride gets killed during her wedding right after she says 'I do', the groom flees with his bodyguard and the CSIs figure out who did it. Sounds good, but pleeease, pleeease, this is not what I was waiting for for about an hour in the middle of the night between 6x13 and 6x14! Meeen, you have no mercy for me.

Plus for the ep title - 'You May Now Kill The Bride' is tremendous, it has so much dark homor in it.

Horatio's behavior seemed a bit different this time. I hope it's intended to be so, not because David Caruso got out of practice, haha. Maybe the whole Kyle-thing threw him a little off balance plus the guy asking him if he ever lost a loved person right before his very eyes. I think he froze inside for a second and then did not know how to react. His voice sounded oddly too. Let's assume it's a brilliant acting, haha. I ain't an expert.

What I did not especially like was the ending -- a cheap tearjerker.
  • A good comeback, to help get us back on our feet after the writers strike.

After watching the promo it looked amazing I mean a wedding in the show between Eric and Calleigh where the hell did it come from? Then I started to watch it and noticed that it wasn't true, much to my disappointment. It starts off with a wedding and all seems to be going well until the bride says "I do". Then she is shot down & killed. This episode started off ok, but perhaps not as well as it could have. We soon find out that the groom is an up and coming Baseball star, and he had tight security at the wedding. For me in the first 5 minutes there was too much flashing back to scenes which we have already seen about two minutes before, and then came the theme tune. H & Alex investigate the body and discover she died from a single gun shoot wonder and had been in a fight prior to the wedding. When the groom is tracked down he believes that he knows the identity of the person whom killed his bride. He believes that a crazy fan killed her, because of him. Now this just proved to me that he was full of himself and I find it hard to believe that a fan would do something like that. As if any of us fans are that crazy!!!

When they investigate further it is discovered that the bride went to the bachelor party the night before. They visit the place & the girl that Eric interviewed Kelly (play by the actress who played Carrie the Nanny on One Tree Hill). It is then discovered that the car actually was the gun (underneath it) and that was the weapon that was triggered remotely and killed the bride. Which I thought was a little far fetched at first but then it showed it and it made more sense. The bride was not the intended victim.

Then Eric and Calleigh recreate the moment and she puts on the vale, which really suited her. This was obviously where the scene in the promo came from. We find out that the intended victim was Kelly from the strip club (played by the girl from OTH). She tells Calliegh that she and the groom had a bit of a thing together and hands her an envelope and announces " Who'd have ever thought he could do a thing like that"

The true killer was Russell, who was the best man at the wedding. He was trying to kill Kelly, and it went a bit wrong, since he killed the wrong woman. All in all a good episode although I think next week's episodes (both of them) are truly going to be amazing I can't wait.
  • You guys are crazy,,,, This was a great episode.

You guys are crazy,,,, This was a great episode. When the ballplayer is asking H if he ever had a loved one die in his arms? That was exactly the way H lost his last love. H, was very caught up in the moment as he had trouble talking..... Not the best episode ever but one with a smart killer and H feeling vulnerable....I thought they brought back some past memories in a sneaky kind of way. Also, the way the figured out how she was shot and they way the gun was used was also very original. The way the show started with the music really got my blood flowing....
  • Horrible!!

This was a disaster!! Horrible acting, worse than usual I mean. The story doesn't have a point to start. Let's just think on the pretenses: the best friend of someone decides to take care of a "business", such as killing a inconvenient person for the best friend at his wedding, ruining it immediately and even risking the lives of the ones he most loves. Does this makes sense to anyone??? Please, not to me and certainly not to anyone with some critical spirit. I hope this changes next on next week's episode, otherwise I'm considering stop watching it. It's time to change some actors and the writers maybe....
  • Good episode.

Finally, the writers strike is over, and CSI: Miami returns with a new episode "You May Now Kill the Bride". The others viewers give this episode a very bad comment, but I think differently. I think this is one very good episode. A bride is murdered in her wedding, leading the team to a strip club for their investigation. As more evidence shows up, they find out the murder weapon, and later on it point to the killer. Great episode!!! I love this episode. I don't expect this episode will be so good even though the writer strike is over. One of the best episode in this season.
  • Really not a good episode!

    3.0
    "Bad"
This episode is really not a good episode as I happened to agree with the viewer and that they need to become more better episodes like the one next week with Horatio being arrested for murder. But this one, I mean, the killer can't afford a tab but can afford a gun. I mean, that is something else. Plus, I will admit that the H one-liners weren't as good as they are really in a lot of episodes. This comes off as a weak one. As you can thank partially the writer's strike over this. Hopefully it will get good next week!
