  • Interesting concept, poor execution.

Underground angry dancing? Now I've seen everything. I guess every show is doing or has done underground fighting so they wanted to try something different.

Despite the unique and entertaining premise, and a plethora of twists throughout the hour, this episode just felt a little boring. Gary Sinise seemed to phone in his performance, as for a minute I thought I was watching Laurence Fishburne on CSI with the way he was emotionally checked out. The rest of the cast did very little to help matters too.

If you are looking for an episode of CSI: NY to pass on, skip this.
  • Mac and the team investigate a botched robbery which left an accomplished street dancer (who had just won $10,000 cash in a competition) dead and his girlfriend seriously injured. The team wonders why the prize money was left behind by the robber.

This episode is not a memorable one. It was good in the fact that it took a familiar formula and tried to go in a different direction which made it a little less predictable. However, it still was predictable. I knew who the gunman was from the second he appeared on camera. The robber who stole Jesse's $3,000 prize was too much of a contrivance for me. One of the saving graces of the episode was seeing how Mac and the team cracked the case. Another highpoint was Flak (at least for once) being Flak again and not mourning Jessica.
  • No Lindsay.... No Sid....:(

No Lindsay??? Really?? What were they thinking??

the chapter was not a brilliant one, the case ended up being quite original but throughout it it was rather boring... they had no evidence to analyse and they spend too much time talking for my taste.... again, no Sid... Danny is walking again almost like nothing happened... he uses the cane and sits down as soon as he can but then when they are interrogating the mugger he is standing up and moving like normal...

Flack is still in casual mood... he looks good though!:P And he said some good lines.

Adam is back, I just love him... he was so hilarious adamross.edu? I'm the only one that though about Adam/Stella relationship when Mac said something about that quiz in facebook she says that he already told her?? There's something there still... like when he makes the joke and Stella is the first to roll her eyes he looks totally disappointed...

All in all... I missed Lindsay... They didn't even mention her...:(
