  • A great episode. It was very touching and though depressing as all hell, it had its good moments. It had to have; a person can't get that depressed and not have some good times too…

    The beginning:

Can we say creepy? But it was an original beginning. A very twisted beginning. It seems innocent with the kids throwing snowballs. Then we see creepy dolls. Oooo I hate those kinda dolls. *shudders* though I might just send it to my friend since she hates it worse.

    The cases:

The murdered doll hospital owner. He was a good guy who was worried about a daughter and what she witnessed. And the stupid mother who had her teeny boyfriend kill the doctor so they could be together. And all she can say in the end is, "does it matter that I love him?" she's a pedophile!

There was the poor case of the girl with terminal cancer. I mean she dies because someone killed her when she only had a few months to live. And who does it turn out to be? The husband of one of her best friends. It's so horrid! I mean really. Why did he have to? The poor girl just wanted to live. And she only had three months to live. Killed slowly by arsenic poison. I mean really. Favorite scene:

Had to have been at the end when Stella laid on the guilt to the husband, the violin player, and told him about the terminal cancer, which he hadn't known about. He wanted the apartment for an extra room for his baby. Overall:

A great episode. It was very touching and though depressing as all hell, it had its good moments. It had to have; a person can't get that depressed and not have some good times too…
  • Mac and the team have two rather interesting murder cases to deal with in this episode. The owner of a "Doll Hospital" found dead in his place of business and a woman (later shown to have terminal cancer) found dead in her apartment.

This episode worked for a number of reasons. The first thing is the two cases. Both were very compelling and had my interest until the end. Another reason is the well written dialouge. Danny's "Bronx Marble" line stuck out in my mind because is was clever and even a bit funny. Once again Gary Sinise and his team are in top form. Who is also in top form is the school teacher who has more than just tutoring her students in mind. I believe that her scenes were very effective as she was questioned by various team members. Effective episode.
  • Murder in a doll hospital!

    Great episode!!!!!!!!

Lindsay playing the good cop and Danny the bad cop.... soooo sweet.... Then they come out... "There's something about that woman"... Did I mention that I love Lindsay!!!! And there are lots of great quotes in there...

If Danny would buy me a drink... it might help... I would definitely ask him if he could give me Flack's number... And this here:

Harry Ellis: So it'll probably be around a whole week or so before they can list the apartment on the market?

Flack: Yeah we usually don't let the realtor show a place until we get the stink of death out of the carpeting. (Flack leaves to go back to her apartment)

Harry Ellis: Well just thought I'd ask. And the attitude is unnecessary! (Flack turns and gives him a look)

So great!!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention that I love Flack???? The cases: Great!!!!!!!

The one with the terminally-ill girl was really sad.... Wanting to look nice in case you die during the night and never wake up again... it made me cry... All in all: A great episode!
  • Interesting cases and nice converstions.

Ok, i really like this episode althought there are a few danny/Lindsay scenes. But in this episode and some before and after this one i like them together, at this time it was just a nice adding.

"City of the dolls" is one episode where i think Danny looks better then he even looks. I do do not know why...

    I love the quotes!

And Danny staring at the fingerprint is so cute, it is my favorite picture of him.

The case with the dollls was interesting and i loved it when this little girl says to Lindsay that she can't tell them her and her doll's secret, her facial expression was too great.

The other case was very disturbing espicially when Mac told the murderer that hte victim would have died soon...

And just to think of selling and buying her appartment is really cruel
  • D/L interaction and great stories, what else you can ask for??

That's a great chapter. To me, as a D/L shipper is even better. The fact that NY city has a doll's hospital is awesome, this city has everything one could need or never need!! The poor guy with all his hands covered in blood was a great image!! Nice shot!!. This case was really interesting and quite complicated, and the best part is the murder weapon a piece is of a porcelain doll!!! Playing with dolls can bedangerous!! Let's analyse D/L scenes!! The perfect fit: Incredible, they seem so comfortable until they realize they are holding hands!! And how she rejects him!! A tiny question...Is my imagination or Danny is always hungry?? The scene in the suspect's door was great too, I like the fact that is she the one to touch him with the excuse of putting on her shoes but I'm sure she is thinking: OMG he has huge muscles!!

The other case was really well written and it was a cruel but real idea!! A poor woman is dead and their neigbours only think in renting her apartment. Smart idea to put the venom in the tea bags!!
  • Well Written...

I liked the concept of a "doll" hospital, but to me that's something that would more fit into a small town than Manhattan. That being said, the fact that the "doctor" found a secret in "Sophie" was something interesting. I loved the scene with Lindsay trying to get the secret out of Abby Drake. Classic kid versus adult, Lindsay lost. Unfortunately, the doctor was murdered over as Danny said to Monica Drake, her guilty conscience. Stella & Hawkes investigating the poisening of Laura Redgrave had their own challenges. From trace like the metorite dust being out of place and then having one motive, NYC space with two neighbors fighting for that space. Hawkes being the investigator that he's becoming did his homework and as Mac teaches, the evidence doesn't lie.
  • Doll hospital? And high school teacher making out with a high school student?

    9.4
    "Superb"
So we have a doll hospital in the steet of NYC. Even Danny Messer who nearly lives his whole life there, wasnt aware of its existance till a dead body was found there. So a doll's arm was used as a murder weapon. And when they brought back the doll for processing, they found out that the doll recorded a conversation. And please, i dun think i would like to write what it was about here. In the end, a high school teacher was making out with a high school guy. I mean, what the..? Lol, can this get any more weirder?

On the brighter side, we have a slight Danny and Lindsay moment. Ah, i love the part where Danny told Lindsay, "You play good cop, i'll play bad cop". Totally adorable!
  • what some people will do to keep a serect from getting out

love watching the episode, really starting to enjoy seeing how Danny and Lindsay work together and the great look Danny gives the teacher at the end of the episode all bec she wanted to keep her serect from getting out, he can't believe that she would go that far. the look Mac gives the both of them when they are in office was great too
  • A murdered doll "doctor" leads Mac, Lindsay and Danny to a teacher with a secret, while Stella, Flack and Hawkes investigate the untimely death of a woman with terminal cancer.

Note: This is a late review. I wrote this a long time ago but only got the chance to post it now. ^_^

Doll Doctor case - Pretty okay, though it's not as spectacular as I imagined. Lindsay and Danny have great chemistry, I hope to see more of their team ups on upcoming episodes. I particularly liked the scene when they had just finished interviewing the teacher and Danny had to hold her hand while explaining something. Talk about an awkward moment. They look so cute!!

Girl with terminal cancer case - Kind of boring, if you ask me.

I'd probably watch this again, if only to watch Lindsay and Danny. ^_^

  • CSI: NY It gets better and better.

CSI NY truly is improving by the episode. This one had an eerie feeling right from the start. A feeling that never lets you go. I was stuck to the TV for the whole hour. Two interesting cases with the cast showing great chemistry. I just wish Mac would lighten up a bit, be more alive. However this was still one of the best episodes of the show so far. Fantastic rhythm, good music, nice script. And Stella is HOTTT! :D
  • Why do they always have good looking female teachers dating high school students?

    8.2
    "Great"
Nothing that hasn't been done to death on other shows. Ever since that woman slept with her 12 year old student all these shows do it. It's very rare in our society to have a female dating a male student. I wish these kinds of shows would go away and find new angles.
  • Another child molesting female.

What all to say about this episode? Starting out in a doll shop looked odd. Then you find out the shop is even more odd, it is the doll hospital. The assistant dresses as a nurse and the main doll repairer is called "doctor". This case was NOT about a "killer kid". It was a child whom accidentally killed the doll doctor trying to get back a secret doll. The secret was his teacher was abusing him. His ABUSER sent him, with the control of an abuser, to get the doll back. The other case was also strange. A female with cancer whom was fighting hard to beat it, but kept her illness completely hidden. What seemed to be maybe a suicide due to fatal illness was actually slow poisoning.
  • What to say about this episode.

    "Great"
I can't say it was the best episode ever. When I first saw in the previews that it was about dolls all I could think about was that this would be like some Chucky episode for CSI: NY. Fortunately it wasn't and I moved on. I liked the plot that Stella and Sheldon were working on. They tricked you into thinking that it was the first suspect they had when you saw he wanted the apartment. The other plot wasn't that interesting. All I wanted to know was who did it. I was disappointed to see CSI: NY pull a killer kid episode but it could have been worse.
