Danny: You're making me nervous Mac. You got that look.
Mac: What look is that?
Danny: The one that says: we're not quite finished, cancel your plans for the evening.
-
Lindsay: Maybe this isn't about the doll at all. Maybe he just used it to defend himself.
Danny: Grip was way too tight. You ever been to a shooting where the vic's hand is frozen in place? You can actually take the gun and slide it right into the palm. Perfect fit. (grips Lindsay's hand) That means he was struggling with the attacker for the gun. Same thing happened here. (continues to hold her hand until she pulls it away) You know? You hungry?
Lindsay: No... I gotta get back to the... lab.
Danny: Yeah, yeah. Me too. Me too.
-
Danny: Miss Drake's been busy. There's more semen samples here than at a fertility clinic.
-
Stella: It's a to-do list for tomorrow. If you're going to kill yourself, why spend time planning to pay bills and do laundry?
-
Danny: Alright Mac, I checked our doll for hidden drugs, cash, treasure maps, anything that would tell us why our vic held on so tight.
-
Hawkes: Maybe we should revisit the idea of suicide, or assisted suicide. She might've wanted to end it on her own terms.
Stella: She had every healthy food, cancer cure product available in her home. Nah, it didn't look to me like she was giving up the fight. I think Lauren Redgrave really wanted to live.
-
Harry Ellis: So it'll probably be around a whole week or so before they can list the apartment on the market?
Flack: Yeah we usually don't let the realtor show a place until we get the stink of death out of the carpeting. (Flack leaves to go back to her apartment)
Harry Ellis: Well just thought I'd ask. And the attitude is unnecessary! (Flack turns and gives him a look)
-
(After Lindsay had removed her boots)
Lindsay: Guess you didn't grow up with hardwood floors.
Danny: No, I didn't actually. Bronx marble.
Lindsay: What's that?
Danny: It's linoleum.
-
(Standing in the doll hospital)
Detective Maka: Never broke an arm off your G.I. Joe?
Danny: Yea, but I did it on purpose, casualty of war.
-
(Danny is holding up a piece of evidence)
Stella: You're gonna have to do more than stare at it.
Danny: I'm waiting for it to talk to me.
Stella: Ah, then you might wanna buy it a drink first.
-
Hawkes: I'm suspicious about anything and sure of nothing.
