ABC's Lost returned from its midseason vacation last night, in a new 10 p.m. time slot to avoid Fox's juggernaut American Idol. Lost scored a 6.5 rating in 18-49, with 14.7 million viewers, according to Nielsen Research.
Lost ratings are down about seven percent from the fall season-three premiere. ABC will run an unbroken string of new episode for the remainder of the season in response to fan complaints that there were too many reruns.
On Fox, Idol continued to dominate, with 11.8/27 in 18-49, 27.6 million viewers overall. Still enjoying its Super Bowl bump was CBS's Criminal Minds, up 50 percent from its last Idol-opposite episode, with a 5.1 rating and 17.2 million viewers.

The third edition of the "CSI" franchise sets up shop in the Big Apple, where taciturn Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) leads a crime-solving team.
