  • Trivia

    • Goof: When Flack arrives at Fern's apartment he is wearing a brown shirt in the squad car but in the next shot, outside Fern's apartment door, he is wearing a blue shirt.

    • Stella confesses to Mac that she has run down a check on Drew that hasn't turned up with any match.

    • Vigilantism is a back story in this episode and it is not condoned.

    • Goof: When Messer is handcuffing Amber, Mac changes places between shots, and Amber's handcuffs change from silver to blue.

    • Goof: Kendall is wearing a badge (in the break room scene when she teases Adam with chocolate). Why would a lab tech have one?

    • Goof: Amber Stanton and Joanna Morgan met while riding the Long Island Railroad (Hence the ticket chad that was recovered at the scene of Mitchell Bentley's murder). Yet the train the two women are seen riding on is a subway train not a Long Island Railroad train.

    • Dect. Angell has four older brothers.

    • Goof: The scene outside the museum between Danny & Lindsay is staged for the bullet to go through the left shoulder. But later, Lindsay points to her right shoulder and during Angell and Danny's interview of Steve, Angell grabs his right shoulder as well.

    • Goof: Lindsay's hair is shorter when she and Danny talk to Mac in the aisle than in the rest of the chapter.

    • Goof: When Hawkes is telling Mac about the food bacteria, his glasses go from on his face to on the top of his head without him moving them. They then switch back to his face in the next shot.

    • When Lindsay was a kid, she'd use her slingshot on boys.

    • Mac: She surrendered to anger instead of fighting to go on with her life.

    • Mac: (To Adam, throwing him a muffin after learning that he is on a diet) Eat something.

    • Flack: Four older brothers and a Detective Sergeant for a father. Your old man dust you for prints when you got home from a date?
      Angell: If it was up to them I wouldn't have known boys existed until I was 21.
      Flack: I'm sure the boys knew you existed.
      Angell: (turns to him smiling) Is that a line Flack? (He grins at her) Did you just bust out your game on me? (He turns away smiling, then looks back at her blushing) It was, wasn't it? Look at you, you're blushing.
      Flack: Come on, game. Game? I have no game. If I did, that's probably as good as it gets.
      Angell: I think it's pretty good.

    • Danny: Quite impressive, I can't believe that contraption actually worked.
      Lindsay: And that all three of my shots were perfect. (taps him on the arm with the sling shot and smiles)

    • Stella: (to waiter) Was he with anyone?
      Waiter: A smoking hot brunette in a red dress, she made the reservation... (checks reservation book) ...under Florence Nightingale, I'm thinking fake name.
      Flack: Real sharp, Larry!

    • Lindsay: (to Amber Stanton) You just don't get it, do you? It doesn't matter who the victim is. It's the killer we're after.

    • Amber Stanton: (during questioning) Whenever I see a useless piece of human trash walk away without consequence, I feel violated again... Bentley was smiling... Kaplan was going about his life as if nothing had happened...
      Mac: So you became a predator, a killer?
      Amber Stanton: I think of myself as an arbiter of justice...
      (Mac looks at Messer who walks toward Amber)
      Danny: Stand up.
      (Amber stands up, Messer cuffs her wrists)
      Mac: Killing out of vengeance is not justice, Ms. Stanton. Justice is conscience. When you lose that, you have nothing.

    • (Doing a reconstruction of the shooting).
      Lindsay: Definitely, could have gone through the love handles.(Smiles and pinches his stomach)
      Danny: That's too low, wise ass.

    • Danny: What you, uh, shot pebbles at squirrels back in Montana?
      Lindsay: No, I used to shoot boys. Now stand back and try to keep up.

    • Danny: I can't believe you aren't going to let me shoot.
      Lindsay: We'd be here all day.

    • Mac: (After Stella tells him the chemical substance found on one of the blades) You can just call it hair spray.
      Stella: Sorry, chemical compounds just sort of roll off my tongue.

    • Flack: Looks like a good clean case for revenge.
      Stella: She certainly made her point.
