  • Not the best chapter ever but it had some good and exciting moments!:D

OK... It wasn't the best chapter ever but I liked it!! The janitor posing as a Doctor and injecting industrial silicon to the players storyline was good although I think they could have taken more profit out of it. The lingerie Football was kind of stupid... and I expected more funny lines from our guys... There were lots of Sid which I really liked and I enjoyed too seeing him out of the morgue. And the last scene with Mac is really cute!

We know that is Danny the one that doesn't want to report that he lost his badge and for his reaction when Lindsay tells him that he should I extract that is not the first time she said he should inform of the situation. I liked that Flack knows about the situation and that he doesn't approve either... And the final DL scene were they kiss, again!! I can't believe how many kisses we are getting this season!! SQUEEE!! Best part of it, Shane Casey is back??? I didn't expect that at all but I love the idea!!
  • We visit the Lingerie Football League and get an example of the games for what is basically a distraction for a standard murder plot. First one and then it turns out two model/players turn up dead as a result of some shady dealings.

Great idea with poor execution. The story really had the possibility of being a top flight episode, but they turned it into a tease episode with little concern for the results of the investigation.

In a very by rote story we go from one suspect to another discarding each as the real killer until a fleck of paint leads the team to a medical facility. Unfortunately it doesn't build a lot of suspense overall. The story just seems to move along. There is little sentiment except with the girls mother and the ME Sid (Robert Joy) who gives us a really good performance.

The acting was fine, it really was the story that unfortunately was not really that intriguing. Somehow you feel that they should have done a little better job starting the story with this subject matter. Maybe a little more intrigue or an interesting twist. Thanks for reading...
  • It's Victoria's Secret meets the (now defunct) Arena Football League in this episode of "CSI: NY." Eddie and Mac investigate the death of a Lingere Football League team's star quarterback who was found dead in a whirlpool bath in the team locker room.

When I started watching this episode I I was reminded of a season two episode of "CSI: NY" titled "Jamalot." Like "Flag on the Play", "Jamalot" was primarily about a the death of the star player on a female sports team. When this episode began, while I liked what I saw on the field, I was a little concerned that "Flag on the Play" would be a rehash of "Jamalot". It was not fortunately, though there were some similarities (Infighting between team members. Coaches with skeletons in their closets.). That aside, this episode worked well. It's ending is plausible also.

Think CSI: NY has already tackled every possible topic? Not yet as tonight's episode revolved around the quarterback of a team in the Lingerie Football League (yes, you read that correctly) being killed. This episode had a unique plot, but also had all the great, signature things that make this program so fun to watch. You had a chase scene, a compelling mystery, and the CSI shows also go out of their wsy to show you as much footage from the labs as possible, which shows that they stay true to their name.

Outside of the bizarre game of catch between Mac and an old friend at the end, this was still a solid episode.
