Do you think that means they're going to cancel it? That's what happened to CSI:Miami. They took it off early... :/

That is sad but I hope we have a fighting chance for one more year. I'll ask this in question thread too but are there any petitions like last year to keep it for another season.

OMG! *Squeeeeees* So happy for AJ (and his g/f). He deserves some happiness after loosing his dad. Congrats to him and I wish him many happy years.

Only sad note: He is off the market. *pouts*

[happy bubble]I'm gonna stay positive and think that since we don't have any news yet (and I don't think that the CBS has any either) it might be within the realm of possibility for Hill to do both things at a time[/happy bubble]

*happy bubble* Covert affairs is a summer show, so he might be able to be in both shows without many problems *happy bubble*

i don't like that he's leaving CSI but i do at the same time love Covert Affairs as well.

has anyone heard if CSI NY been Cancelled yet? it does feel every season lately we have less episodes! errrrrrrrrrgh!

this version has really never been a ratings grabber even in it's 1st season to be honest. the fact that we have had it this long is a miracle in itself to be honest. and if they DO cancell it, it was a nice way to end it ya know? from what i read on how they want to end the show they want Mac to Marry Christine. yes he did propose in the finale. but they didn't say proposal they said wedding so if they bring it back for one more season at least it will than end on the way the producers want it to end instead of CBS getting rid of it.

While this isn't confirmation of the shows renewal, this article is a bit positive (and personally giving me a bit of hope despite the 'fans are delusional to think this show will get renewed' comments I see online a lot lately).

the thing is i loved this season. well this last season i loved getting a glimpse into each character on their day life and learning things about them we didn't know before. that i loved. and while i enjoyed that. i don't think it will get renewed but having said that i can at least say i am thrilled that they ended the show on no cliff-hanger but on a proposal. earlyier this season the producers said that they wanted to end the series with them getting married. and my guess is they put that in the finale just in case they DO get cancelled and i can live with that ending. if that is indeed the ending.

    Thanks for the link, Stacy

I could live with this finale too but I do want more, as much as we can get (providing that good storyline quality and character development are kept). For the past seasons TPTB have been really good at writing season finales that could serve as show finales as well but there's just ground to carry on. Unless I'm recalling it wrong we didn't see a glimpse of some of the characters' lives in their off time (Hawkes and Danny come to mind) so yeah, I'll keep on rooting for renewal until official word is out.

I am hoping for renewel but ok if not too. Personally this past year I think they did quite well. Two of Cbs Sunday shows that supposingly were going to end this year (being on Sundays is a warning sign... a bad one) but both to my knowledge are safe. Don't know if they will stay on Sunday or not. I just hope we know soon!
