Be prepared with tissues for this one. It's a tear jerker. But it got my daughter asking questions, well worth it.

Amazing episode. I have soooooo much to say but I dont want to ruin it for some. But I have to say I didnt see one thing coming.

Hawkes was so great in this. His talk with Danny after Danny had practically beat the crap out of that guy. And I know I wasnt the only one, but I wanted to hug Hawkes sooooooo much when he first told Danny that his uncle died. And when he talked about him. How his uncle had a sign on is front lawn after he graduated med school. That had me tearing up. So I was a messwhen it got itnot the story. And Mac in the end. I'm stoping writing b/c I will give a play by play and ruin some good moments. Just very powerful episode overall, and everyone one involved did an awesome job acting. *leaves big box of tissues for anyone that needs it*

This was such an excellant episode- I think I stopped breathing at points. I am glad that it shown light on the Holocaust in a tasteful and respectful way. When I was younger, I went to DC and one of the things that stands out in my mind to this day is the trip to the Holocaust Museum.

I really thought this episode was very well done (though I didn't like the fist bump, I felt it was a bit awkward given where they were)

It must have been REALLY hard for Ed Asner (I love Lou Grant) to play a racist Nazi (as he was born and raised Orthodox Jewish). But luckily, he didn't have many scenes where he had to say anything offensive. And it could be said that he'd thought the episode did a great thing in the end. But OH MY GOODNESS, I cried so much. I don't think I've cried that much in a CSI:NY ep before.

Same here, pretty much at a loss of words since there are so many things worth mentioning. Whoa, thrilling episode. If not the best, one of the best of the season. Loved it!
