How is it giving justice to the character when they arent there to state if they like it or not? I would of liked her finding something out about her family and maybe leaving to start a new life getting to know them guess I can dream.....

Well, her leaving to lead another lab makes sense to me. I think it's a sensible exit since Mac doesn't seem to be retiring any time soon and Stella might have professional wishes to fulfill, and if it takes going somewhere else, I guess she might do it.

However the whole Katrina and oil mention is to me.

I don't think she'll be back tbh and I don't think this Sela Ward will stay long :/ just my opinion I could be wrong, Jess never stayed (even tho she wanted too ) Haylen left (lemme hear you cheer)

Well, I don't know. I fear the audience might not cut her some slack at first, because Melina was much loved and she is gonna have that 'substitute' feel even if both character are written in a very different way (which TPTB should do if they are any smart) but I don't think the audience is gonna have much of a saying here like in Haylen's case since Stella's gap is too big not to be filled. Haylen was perfectly 'expendable' and Jess was a recurrent.

I don't think we will. If Melina didn't want to film to give Stella a proper exit, I don't think she'll be in the mood for a crossover.

There is a rumour of a CSI:Europe based in Italy. AJ Buckley did an interview saying he'd like to do that I don't think Stella will be back at all

Is it me or the CSI franchise sounds to be in decline? Not sure a Europe CSI would be a good idea.
