Mac: (about ammonium nitrate) McVeigh used it in the Oklahoma City bombing.
On April 19, 1995, 168 people were killed when Timothy McVeigh set off a truck bomb at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. This was the worst terrorist attack on American soil prior to the 9/11 attacks. McVeigh was sentenced to death in 1997 and executed in 2001.
