Goof: When Hawkes is being booked he can be seen having his fingerprints taken. Since he is a CSI his fingerprints should already be in the system.
This episode takes place on February 13th, 2006 as revealed in episode 6x19 Redemptio.
Peyton and Sid worked with Hawkes when he was a medical Examiner.
Despite claiming to work in an establishment called 'Peeping Tom's', the character played by Anthony Giangrande is continually referred to as 'Peeking Tom'.
There is no mention or trace to the snakebite that Lindsay suffered in 3x10 Sweet Sixteen even though it is recent wound. The bandage is also gone.
Goof: When Casey is caught, Flack tackles him to the ground, right after Danny jumps on top of Casey, who is lying on his side. Immediately afterwards, as the cameras shift, he is lying on his front.
Goof: The address they list for the bar Shane Casey is at and asks Messer to come to is 148 Seely Street. There is no Seely Street in NYC. However there is a Seely Lane in Richmond, New York.
Goof: The Glock that Messer uses when he enters the bar is clearly not a prop and just a BB Gun. In Hi-Def, the logo "KWC" can be clearly seen instead of a GLOCK logo. KWC is a manufacturer for BB guns.
The way Hawkes was identified as a suspect will not hold in the court - there was no line-up.
Goof: When Mac enters the elevator inside the hotel he takes the one on the right. As the elevator climbs up the outside of the building he is now on the left elevator. Then, as he talks to the suspect on the phone, he has an elevator pass him heading up by the left side twice within 4 seconds. Which places him in the right elevator again.
Goof: When Mac is reading the article about Ian Casey's verdict, you can clearly tell that the writers of the show did not write a complete article. After talking briefly about the Casey verdict, the article goes on to talk about a bomb, and the next sentence is a fragment which appears to be in Latin. When the article is later scanned into the computer, it has changed to what appears to be a complete story about the Casey verdict.
Stella: Danny, what were you thinking? You could be accused of tampering with a witness, or interfering with an investigation. Gerrard is looking for any excuse to come at us.
Danny: I'm sorry, all right? I didn't break any rules, all right. I just bent them a little bit, I didn't break them.
Mac: Let's treat Hawkes like what he is. Our only viable suspect. Let's interrogate him. Right here, right now. Ask the hard questions. See what answers we come up with.
Danny: You want somebody to pay for this. So do we. But that somebody should be the thug who committed the crime. Not the first face you see.
Lindsay: Hawkes' clothes just tested positive for gunshot residue.
Lindsay: They were testing the cuff of his right sleeve.
Stella: It's consistent with firing a gun.
Lindsay: And he's right-handed.
Danny: We know he didn't do it.
Lindsay: Well, you know he didn't do it, I know he didn't do it. But the trouble is, now we have an eyewitness, and more importantly the evidence, that contradict what we all think.
Flack: Captain, let me handle this!
Gerrard: Just stay out of it Flack!
Flack: Captain! He's not doing anything you wouldn't do if it were me in that room. Now, I'm asking you a favor. Please, let me handle this.
Tom: Welcome to Peeping Tom's. You, uh, looking for anything in particular?
Stella: Let me guess, Tom?
Tom: The man, the myth.
Stella: (Shows her badge) Detective Bonasera, the law, the order.
Tom: (Sneers) Booth Number 3.
Stella: Thank you.
Tom: Freakin' junkies. I'm trying to run a reputable business here.
Danny: Reputable? You kidding me?
(At the store)
Danny: (Looking at the tape) Art of Whore... when a soldier's unit is taken by surprise.
Danny: What? You don't want me to ruin the ending for you?
(Outside the crime scene)
Stella: I hate the view from outside the tape.
(Outside the crime scene)
Lindsay: So now what do we do?
Danny: Scratch our as*es while these guys decide Hawkes's fate.
Capt. Gerrard (to Stella, about Hawkes presumed involvement in the murder) Seems you and Taylor got a knack for hiring "high tech geeks" with a penchant for committing felonies.
Danny: Why don't we step outside grandpa, I'll show you what kind of a geek I am.
Peyton: I pushed you into making a relationship you weren't ready for.
Mac: That's not true Claire... Peyton.
Peyton: I suppose I should be flattered, seeing how much you cared for her.
Capt. Gerrard: Your ass is mine Taylor!
Mac: You threatening me?
Stella: (To Capt. Gerrard) Threaten a member of my team again and I'll make it my personal mission to have your badge!
