- Danny says to Lindsay that her knowing about football is dangerous because he might ask her to marry him. This is ironic as much later on in the series he does ask her to marry him and she eventually accepts.

- Goof: Danny remarks about the heavy blood stain on the carpet padding, that indicates the presence of the cart. When he initially examines the padding, at the beginning of the episode, there is no such stain. The blood is uniform.

- Editing Error: During the autopsy on the football player Lindsay Monroe figures out that the numbers on his chest spell out a telephone number. She says that the number might lead them to mystery woman number one. At this point they had not identified that there was a second mystery woman.

- Editing Error: Mac and Stella discuss Carter buying a prescription. However a few scenes later Flack identifies Carter on a survelliance video as the unknown ATM robber. The scene with Mac and Stella should have been after the identification.

- Goof: At the beginning of the episode, the victim's (Clark's) clothes are found in a freestanding outdoor phone booth that according to the subway station sign in the background is on 65th St. First of all, there is no 65th St. subway station in Manhattan. Second, there are only 4 remaining outdoor phone booths on the island. They are all on West End Ave at 66th, 90th, 100th, and 101st Sts. And third of all, the remaining NYC payphones do not say TELEPHONE at the top. They say the name of the local telephone company, Verizon.

- Clark's fellow patients at the hospital call themselves Flash, Thor and Aquaman. The Flash and Aquaman are characters from DC Comics. Thor is from Marvel Comics.

- The episode title, Super Men, is an obvious allusion to the comic book hero Superman. The hero, who has dark hair and wears glasses, takes off his normal street clothes and reveals a bright suit and a yellow cape underneath, vaguely similar to that worn by Superman. The hero punches a mugger at an ATM machine who is pointing a gun at someone. When the guy runs off, the hero chases after him. When they discover the element krypton on the body of the heroic victim, the technician is ebullient because he feels this strengthens the connection between the heroic victim and Superman. Also both are called Clark.
