Well, this is the second episode of CSI:NY that I've seen and it was really good. I think I missed some of the character things because I haven't seen other episodes. For starters, I have no idea who Claire is so I didn't know Reed's relationship to Mac. Anyways, the story was interesting. A cab man was killing people and it turned out that he thought he was some religious savior person. The whole idea of the blog and the source being the killer was interesting. I liked how each character reacted differently to the situation. Overall, another good episode and I can't wait to see another.moreless

  • A cab screeches to a stop in front of the police precinct, almost running down Detective Flack in the process. A dead body falls out, and Mac must decide if the Cabbie Killer is really dead, or if this is just a ruse.moreless

I really liked this episode of CSI:NY. It started out strong, even though we all knew that Cabbie Jimmy was NOT the Cabbie Killer; that would be way too easy and so very anticlimatic. Once the Cabbie Killer kidnapped Reed, the episode became extremly suspenseful. Mac's frustration and aggrevation was convincing enough to instill the same emotions in the viewer. What was most suspenseful was the fact that Reed is (not to me) an expendable character. It is easy to imagine a new story line with Mac's anger over Reed's death, and the viewer could never be sure if he would live. It would have been very different if, say, Mac himself had been kidnapped. Every viewer would know that there was no way that Mac Taylor would be killed off, so the suspense level wouldnt be there.moreless

This episode was one of the best in a while. I found it to be really exciting! Trying to find out whether reed surviving and I love how reed gave clue to Mac that was really great of him!!! I wish I remember when he first came, my family did but I don't.

Love the chemist with Mac and Reed, hope to see more of reed in future season, that be great!

Great to see Quinn Shelby (Kristen Dalton) acting, she was in dead zone.

Love this episode, have seen better season from csi ny maybe that is also because I like Danny and Lindsay together as a couple, their chemist is still good, but it isn't the same when they are not together, and I can't believe only one more episode till this season is overmoreless

  • Conclusion to the Taxi Cab Killer Storyline

    "Perfect"
Finally the "Tax Cab Killer" is caught. Using state of the art high tech equipment and good CSI/Detective work Mac & company race against the clock to save Reid from the "Taxi Cab Killer", but he gets away. Reid gives Mac an idea of where he was when he was bound and locked up in the killers trunk with his latest victim. Mac uses the information to find the "Taxi Cab Killer" in an abandoned fire station in New Jersey. The "Taxi Cab Killer" thought he was doing God's work by killing people and helping them to pass across the river of Styx.

This was a great episode and conclusion to this story line. The way Mac analyzes things and is able to pick out clues makes him in my opinion the best CSI Detective from all of the CSI Shows.moreless

I was happy to see the taxi killer finally get caught. The guy is nuts, as I thought. I was shocked when Reed was free. I was expecting him to be a victim after he'd gotten into the cab in a previous episode. Still, it didn't take long before he was, indeed a victim.

Reed is extremely annoying. He's not even Mac's stepson and he's always nagging, as if he's entitled to something from Mac. His character gradually became worse and worse so that I was hoping he'd get killed off the show. After he was captured, however, I felt bad for the dumb kid. I think he's learned his lesson.

I think it was cool how Reed since the team clues on his blog. That saved his life. I thought the episode was very good. I'm happy to see this story line get rapped up. I feel that it should have been rapped up sooner. There were one too many episodes that mentioned the taxi killer. I loved how Mac was read at the hospital and also when Reed was discharged from the hospital but it's strange that Reed's own parents weren't there. I loved how the team supported Mac, knowing how involved with and attached he is to Claire's son.moreless

    • Hawkes uses Danny's nickname for Lindsay and calls her Montana. Edit
    • Mac uses Claire's name to somehow shut Quinn and put her in her place. He seems to experience both hurt and regret when being confronted with his shady past. Quinn is sad at learning that Claire died and she looks wounded at Mac's snapping. Edit
    • Reed writes in his blog: No one should be written about with anonymity. But then, she shouldn't be dead. He is clearly talking about his fellow unnamed victim, who died just because she got in the wrong cab, but he is also talking about his mum. Claire died anonymously with thousands others on 9/11 and her body was never recovered. Both cases are examples of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Edit
