    • Goof: On more than one occasion throughout the show, Gilbert Novotny is incorrectly referred to as George Novotny. Two specific examples include the conversation between Bonasera, Hawkes and Parsons in the morgue, and also the scene where Messer and Taylor are preparing to test their theory on a crime scene.
    • Danny Messer's story of playing in the minors and then leaving due to an injury parallels actor Carmine Giovinazzo's own life. However, in real life, Carmine Giovinazzo was forced to leave the game due to a back injury, not an injured wrist.
    • The baseball stadium shown in this episode is not Yankee Stadium. It is actually San Fransico's 3Com Park (formerly Candlestick Park), the football stadium where the 49ers play. Interestingly, the last time baseball was played there was 1999.
