Sutton: That was my life. Mac: That wasn't your life, this is. And for the next twenty five years, that life is the property of the New York State Department of Corrections.
Sutton: I saw the magazine articles on those ruins in Peru. Brilliant discovery, a career maker. It was me, I got you there. I sold you my life, I sold you my reputation, I sold you my career, I sold you my existence! (Henson shoves Sutton up against the wall) Henson: No! It was my hard work that got me there. You gave up on your life, and I took it, and turned it into something you couldn't. I don't owe you anything.
Flack: Okay that means Henson was shot both times well after he'd already assumed Sutton's identity. (Mac looks like he's thought of something.) Flack: What're you thinking? Mac: If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
(Mac just gave a brief history on Roosevelt) Flack: You're the guy I'd want to sit next to in History class on the day of the test. Danny: Good luck trying to cheat off of this guy.
Mac: So why is half the lab out in the hall watching you fly paper airplanes? Adam: Um, uh, you know, that's a good point. And um, I'm gonna walk away, and work, and hopefully save my job.
Stella: Looks like James Sutton fashioned himself a real Indiana Jones. Mac: Until someone made this his last crusade.
Hawkes: (sing song voice) Who's better than me? Mac: Depends who you ask.
Mac: Our James Sutton just became James Doe.
Chad Faust, who plays James Sutton, also appears in the CSI: Miami episode Backstabbers and in the CSI one 73 Seconds.

Danny: Looks like homicide gave him a Get Out of Jail Free card. A Get Out of Jail Free card refers to the one in the Monopoly game. Possession of the card allows a player to stay out of Jail and resume normal play on the next turn if he/she lands on the Jail space.
Stella: Seems James fashioned himself a real Indiana Jones. Mac: Until someone made this his last crusade. This, along with James Sutton's attire, are a reference to the 1989 George Lucas/Steven Spielberg film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), the third entry in the popular Indiana Jones franchise starring Harrison Ford as the eponymous character.
