Goof: The newspaper headline about the deceased deputy mayor says "just desserts" but it should read "just deserts".
-
This is the second time that a dead body is found when Stella attends a party. First time was in 2x14 Stuck on You.
-
The show does a good job at depicting "blue flu" in a smart, reasonable and rational way, risky topic as it is, and neither of both sides is blamed. However, even though everyone respects that Danny decides to take action, he should have been up-front about it preventing that a criminal was put back on the street.
-
Adam has some kind of OCD which fits with the few hints of his past we've known so far. It is praise worthy the way such disorder has been treated, showing one can live with it without being pointed at.
-
Goof: When Stella picks up Hawkes' phone call, Stella's cell phone screen is displaying the main menu as she puts it to her ear, meaning she isn't really talking on it.
-
Goof: The news page that Dunbrook and Mac are shown reads: "NY's finest take a break" in 3 lines. However, in the next take when Mac takes the page in his hand it displays just 2 lines.
-
Goof: When Lindsay tells Adam that he can use the lab's equipment to run a test on the unidentified trace on his iPod, Hawkes is not in the room. However, as Adam's results show up, Hawkes arrives and mentions that those results belong to Adam's iPod.
-
Goof: Mac never picked up the perp's gun in the opening scene.
-
Jake Kaplan shows up at the precinct asking for Adam, but Flack fails to realize he was looking for Adam Ross. Later on, he shows up at his house with Stella, and sees a pic of the kid, rushing back to the precinct where the boy keeps waiting. Isn't it odd that he would have been left sitting there and waiting for hours, being just a seemingly lost kid?
-
We learn at the beginning of the episode that 40% of the cops have joined the strike. However, later on, Danny shows up at the crime scene to work only to leave and join the stand up when he gets a phone call. How come he hadn't joined it at an earlier stage?
-
If the Deputy Mayor was already dead when he landed on the ground, why would Brendon Walsh put his jacket under his head?
-
It is never explained how the tile got on the crime scene and how the blood got on it.
-
Dunbrook gets Mac black coffee with one sugar, and we don't see Mac try it. Dunbrook had no way to know, but as revealed in 2x24 Charge of this Post Mac likes his coffee black with two sugars.
-
Goof: Stella's cell phone screen light is off when she takes it out from Brendan's pocket to attend the incoming call. Then the light is on as she speaks to Mac and half way through the conversation the light turns off, indicating the cell phone is not really in use.
-
Lindsay reminds Hawkes that he is not a sworn NYPD officer as opposed to Danny, since he was transferred from the ME's office. It is out of character of her to do so since she transferred from Montana which makes her a sworn Montana PD officer and not a sworn NYPD one, even if she is an NYPD cop right now.
-
Stella leaves the crime scene and is still wearing her party dress when she goes to the FDNY to ask Brendon for his party clothes. However, he's got time to change clothes and attend a fire call. Stella would have had more than enough time to get changed as well before Brendon was available.
-
Using the lab's equipment for personal issues like Adam processing trace on his iPod sounds against the rules.
-
Goof: If Jake strangled his father using his tie holding its ends with his hands, how did the clip leave that mark at the side of the victim's neck?
-
Stella went to Danny's apartment with the intention of yelling at him, but even if she finally did otherwise, she is not maybe the most appropriate person to face Danny when she is breaking rules herself and disobeying her direct superior in the Diagos case.
-
Why would Lindsay call Danny every few hours if he wasn't really sick? And according to Danny, he coughed every time he answered the phone just in case it wasn't Lindsay. Was she calling his earth line? Wouldn't it have been more logical to call him to his cell phone so he can see the ID on screen?
-
Danny's apartment is #3G.
-
Danny can be seen wearing a Cessau shirt when Stella goes to see him at his apartment. Cessau is the band
Carmine Giovinazzo plays in.
-
Danny came from a family of cops. That is striking information that seems to contradict the background given to the character in past seasons. We know his brother Louie was a Tanglewood gang member, apparently his family had family connections and was under surveillance all of what was balanced out by Mac before hiring him. Other members of his family that had been mentioned were never cops (i.e he had an uncle working in construction).
