Flack: (to Bernie Benton) You have the right to remain silent, anything you say--
Bernie Benton: --Will be too damn late anyway.
-
Lindsay: Well, it seems that Bernie Benton has a daughter.
Stella: I guess the pineapple didn't fall far from the tree.
-
Flack: Bernie Benton, still hustling darts.
Bernie Benton: Don Flack, still hassling law-abiding ex-cons.
-
Agent Walsh: Yea, well, word to the wise Detective, before you use that weapon of yours to start taking potshots at politicians, you better make damn sure there isn't another one pointed right at your head.
-
Danny: Look, before we go inside let me tell you one more thing, ok? Because I want you to know, (makes a pause to grab Lindsay's upper arms) that I love you.
Lindsay: (Smiles widely) I love you, too, Danny.
-
Mac: I was with the FBI. They picked me up in a car, questioned me for over an hour about the Anne Steele case.
Stella: The fixer with the flash drive.
Mac: I was the last one to handle it. They accuse me of stealing it.
-
Stella: She is not alone, right? I mean, the baby has a father?
Lindsay: Yeah, yeah and he is great. It's just... you know I don't really know how ready he was for any of this so... well it's complicated.
Stella: But beautiful. Listen Lindsay, uhm... I'm sure if your friends' coworkers are anything like yours, they'll understand the situation and work with her, even be happy for her. It's gonna be ok.
Lindsay: Thanks.
Stella: You are welcome. Hey, uhm... tell your friend congratulations.
-
Lindsay: Stella! Aren't you the... the official safety officer at the lab?
Stella: Yeah, that's my proud unpaid position. Why?
Lindsay: Well I've got this uhm... friend, she works upon a forensics lab in New Jersey, and... she's pregnant.
Stella: Oh, good for her!
Lindsay: Yeah, except she is nervous because you know, the chemicals and the processes that we do you know that could really harm the development of a baby right?
-
Danny: Boy or girl?
Lindsay Healthy.
Danny: Will you marry me?
Lindsay: (Pauses and puts right hand on Danny's left shoulder.) No.
-
Danny: How's the baby?
Lindsay: She's fine.
Danny: She?
Lindsay: ...Or he. Relax, it's too early to tell.
-
Lindsay: Well wouldn't you rather walk down the aisle than be pushed?
Danny: Of course.
