  • Another emotional episode, but well worth it. The model scenes helped lighten the mood. Okay so their deaths were not fun either, but it was a good change from the depressing guy in the end who wanted to save his wife from jail. some spoilers insidemoreless

    The Beginning:
Everything seems crazy in the model industry, but what is crazier is when the model dies on the catwalk. It was sweet to see the designer freaking out and stopping them from photographing her. Nice to give her some decency, especially since she was basically naked (apart from some paint and bangles).

    The Cases:
The case with the model was amazing. Not only do we find out that she did from the heart and not the blow to her head, but there is a void in her stomach since she doesn't eat anything (love that- and Hawkes, well models don't do anything.) But she is completely healthy!! How bizarre!! Then not only do we have one model, but a second, with the same color paint on her wound. The models both have blunt force trauma, but only one died from it: the second model. We find out that what the first model died from was, get this, ecstasy in the lungs! Even more craziness. And that is virtually impossible since you can't smoke it. This leaves us wondering, good god how did she get it in there if she didn't take any. How can you OD on something you don't consume or inhale? Then we get a clue: all the green paint accounted for and purchased for the show was not used. So where did her paint come from? The paint was what had the ecstasy in it, and the lights caused her to inhale it. And immediately what do our CSIs conclude? Ecstasy smuggling scheme. It's clear now the second vic died because she saw what was going on. And it turns out it was the truck driver who delivered the paint to the warehouse. That's why he was okay with them looking at it. He already moved the ecstasy paint away. And he had replaced the ones at the show. But he didn't see the last one till too late. Though he did have to take it, couldn't have an extra paint can, that'd look suspicious. I have to say, he was kind of stupid. I felt really bad for the models I mean, yeah okay whatever spoiled, but they were just innocent bystanders in a truck driver who was an idiot. I mean he was the one who made the wrong delivery, and they pay for it.

Then we have the second case with the guy who drops the gun on Flack's desk. I mean what is up with that? Admitting to a murder like that? Loony. And then he freaks out when he says he shot a doctor. I loved Flack's reaction here. It was brilliant. And as he is telling Flack this, we immediately jump to seeing Lindsay and Stella on the case. This was a wonderful bit of editing. I loved that. We already catch him in a lie- he said he faced her but the gunshot was in the back. We know who did it, but why? Yet Stella makes us think, well maybe not him. Then at the scene of the doctor we find LEECHES? EW thanks CSI for ruining my day. Okay so they don't know I despise leeches. But still!! We have a hunch he didn't do it, now the question is why would he admit to it? This was a brilliant bit of storytelling, and how the doctor was evil and stealing their money giving the guy false hope of getting better. They gave everything to this lady and she gave nothing in return but wasted dreams. And the poor wife was left with nothing. What was great was that the poor husband was willing to kill himself for this girl. Well, he was willing to go to jail for his wife, even though she did the crime. True, he didn't have much time on this earth, but it was sweet that he was willing to go through with it for her. And it was so sad in the end when Stella couldn't do it. We know why she couldn't maybe we are a bit angry at her. But she did have a good reason.

    Favorite scene:
When Stella discovered the magnetized bullets and gun. She was just so funny doing it over and over again. And then when she showed her discovery she was so excited like a school girl!

    Overall:
Another emotional episode, but well worth it. The model scenes helped lighten the mood. Okay so their deaths were not fun either, but it was a good change from the depressing guy in the end who wanted to save his wife from jail.moreless

I thought this episode was well written but as a whole it wasn't one of my favorites and I can't put my finger on why. I liked the twists with the leeches coming into play as well as the drugs being hidden in the green paint. I just had a hard time getting hooked on the episode. With most of the NY eppys I'm used to being drawn in almost immediately and it didn't happen for me in this episode.moreless

  • Models suddenly die and a terminally ill patient confess a murder. The cases are getting better!

So we have a model who suddenly drops dead on a runway. They actually use body-paint and not clothes. And someone out there, poisoned the can of paint. But it wasnt for the models actually. The model was just unlucky enough to use that particular can of body paint.

And on the other case, we have a terminally ill patient who confessed he killed a doctor which was found dead in the alley. I was quite saddened by this case. He was suffering from a rare sickness, and the doctor treats him with leeches. The wife of the patient thinks the doctor is trying to cheat his money, so she killed the doctor off. The husband covers up for the wife, knowing he might die soon anyway. yes, i was touched by his actions. But his wife cannot just get away with what she has done.moreless

  • This episode fascinated me because the three cases were interesting to watch how they unfolded. The case that interested me the most was the murder of the doctor who collected leeches for water for patients.moreless

I really felt bad for one of the suspects because he had a blood disease that was causing him to die. Paul believes that if he confesses to the murder of Rachel he would be protecting his wife who actually committed the murder. All the while knowing that what he did was just as wrong even though his heart may have been in the right place.

    • Goof: At the end of this show they show that the wife of the terminally ill patient goes into a room with a MRI and that because of the magnetic field her gun is magnetized. This is not possible, because if you walk into a room with a MRI everything that is magnetic will fly into the MRI because of the magnetic field. Edit
