  • Won't somebody please give the poor man a kidney?!

    9.0
As we all know, it doesn't matter what kind of shenanigans Larry David gets himself into; his life has a nice way of wrapping itself up into a neat little package, and he always comes out on top in the end. When Richard Lewis needs a kidney, Larry reluctantly decides to see if he is compatible as a donor. He convinces Jeff to be tested at the same time, and as fate would have it, they are both compatible. Instead of stepping up and doing the noble thing, they argue over who has to be the one to give up a kidney, and decide to settle the matter through a game of "Eeny Meeny Miny Mo". Larry loses the game and the rights to his kidney. He asks Richard Lewis if there's anyone in his family that could donate a kidney, but Lewis says that he only person who would possibly be compatible is his crazy cousin, Louis Lewis, who refuses to part with any of his organs until he's dead.

In true "Curb Your Enthusiasm" fashion, there is a second story being developed at the same time. A few days prior this, Jeff and Larry ended up having a late dinner at Jack-in-the-Box with a mysterious stranger, Pete, who is wanted for a string of armed robberies and murders at several Jack in the Box restaurants. When Pete is arrested, he uses Larry as an alibi and is released from jail, only to rob the very same Jack in the Box that Louis Lewis manages. (What are the odds of that?) L.L. is shot and ends up in what is most likely an irreversible coma.

    A very "Seinfeld-esque ending. Bravo, Larry. Bravo.moreless
