Season 6 of Curb Your Enthusiasm was a disappointment for me, but this had to be one of the better episodes of the season. We got introduced to Leon Black, a man who arguably became one of the show's best supporting characters. Just minutes into his tenure on the show we discover that he may have masturbated all over his bed sheets (only on Curb!).

Whenever Ted Danson shows up the comedic iconic delivers and this was no exception. His friendship with Cheryl irritates Larry, and when Larry tries to incorporate one of their playful taps into his relationship with Susie, well, you can guess what happened.

This worked because it was essentially what was great about early Seinfeld episodes. It seemed like a lot of material straight out Larry David's stand-up act with topics covered such as his feelings on dry cleaning, and anonymity.

Not only was this the first appearance of Leon in the show, who would quickly become one of the best supporting characters in the show, but it had a superb setup and a great payoff. Larry David had several plot lines juggling around and, unlike some of the episodes this season, every single one ended up coming together in the end to pay off.

The title gets its name from a wing that Ted Danson and Larry David donated to the building.. Larry David put his name up on the wall next to his wing, but Danson decided to say that his wing was donated by anonymous, so that people wouldn't know it was him and he wouldn't get the fanfare. Larry's upset because he never wants the fanfare, but grows even more upset after he learns Ted is telling people about his donation, even after he said he wanted to be anonymous, which leaves LARRY wanting to be anonymous.

Also, somebody steals his New York jersey at a dry cleaner, and throughout the episode, he attempts to find it, using Leon to intimidate people to give the jersey back to him.

It's hard to describe the plot without giving too much away. That's the basic premise, and you should see it for yourself for the full effect. The end scene ties the previous plot points together, and although Season 6 may not have been as powerful as previous seasons, this was certainly a shining point.moreless

Good episode better than the last...

The Davids and the Blacks move into a new house, and take in a new guest; Larry rewrites a dry-cleaning rule; Jeff finds his reputation stained; and Larry envies Ted Danson's anonymity. This episode was great much better than the last, it was really funny, I really like the new family they are dead funny, Jeff is disgusting and it was really funny when Susie kicked Larry out the house, he did nothing wrong, it was also quite disgusting, but at the same time it was laugh out load comedy thats why I give the episode 9.3 out of 10, great.moreless

This episode is pretty pretty funny.

Oh man was this a funny episode. Lets first start with one of the new members' brother moving in with Larry and Sheryl. Larry asked Mrs. Black if her brother was in the hurricane, and she said "no, he lives here in Los Angeles." Then Sheryl finds a "stain" on one of the sheets in the room where Mrs. Blacks brother is staying. So Larry assumes that he did it. So he confronts him but Mr. Black denies it. Then Larry, Jeff and Ted go to Sheryl's NRDC opening. Thats where Larry and Ted hear that Jeff was the one who "stained" the sheets. They get a good laugh out of that. Then Sheryl comes and playfully taps Ted on the arm and back and forth they go. Larry had donated a lot of money into NRDC so they named a wing with his name on it. Across from his wing, is another one but with no name. It just says donated by anonymous. Larry soon finds out that Ted is the anonymous donor. So again he confronts Ted and complains to him and they start bad mouthing each other. On the drive back home, Sheryl tells Larry that she knows it was Jeff who left the stain on her sheets. Larry says "Ted Danson told you." They go on with there little argument. Then Sheryl bans Jeff from their house. The next day, Larry goes over to Jeff's house and tells him the Sheryl knows that he did it and that Ted was the one who told her. He also mentions that Jeff is banned from their house. Not knowing that Susie overheard everything, she wants to know why her husband was banned from Larry's house. So Larry tells her. Then Susie gets mad at Jeff and tells Larry that his wife has no authority to ban her husband from Larry's house. So she decides to ban Larry from her house. Then Larry gets mad and leaves. The rest is still funny but this was the core reason why it was really funny.moreless
