  • Deserves to be recognized simply for the great lines between Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David

    8.9
Now this is what I've been waiting for: an episode of Curb where Jerry and Larry can just talk to one another and have those simple conversations that Seinfeld made popular and Larry David has expanded on through his own show. Whether it was talking about who would talk to the secretary about the bare midriff or discussing how much napkins one should use during a dinner, it was great to hear the two going back and forth and riffing off of each others lines.

However, as genuine and improvised as the lines were, there were some pretty strange and awkward plot devices. We've seen dream sequences and daydreams from Larry David, but the flashback where Larry David played the mothers deceased husband was very surreal. At first, I didn't know what to think about it, but when it came back to play a big role in the argument of Richard Lewis and Larry, I thought it was pretty good. Also, if you're wondering how the bare midriff would come into play later in the episode, you have to wait until the final minutes, where you'll be laughing so hard at how ridiculous it is.

I've found Season 7 to be a little surreal in the plots.. but at the same time, the humor is on an entirely different level. It seems two years was enough time for everybody to figure out new stuff and new plots to follow. I'm really enjoying season 7 so far and hope that the Seinfeld plot point has a good payoff.moreless
  • Jerry and Larry are bothered by their heavy set assistant who reguarly wears shirts that expose her flabby midriff. Also, a medication Larry has been taking causes him to urinate excessively which in turn causes a lot of splashing.moreless

Once again the laughs do not stop from beginning to end in this absurd, but terrific episode. The scenes of Larry's trips to the bathroom are (I almost hate to say this) the high point of this episode. When he accidentally splashes the picture of Jesus Christ, I almost fell off the chair laughing. The reaction of his assistant and her mother is classic. What I also like about this episode is that they both learn the truth and don't have the false impression of a miracle. Jerry Sienfeld is terrific once again in another guest appearance. A terrific episode.moreless
  • More absurdity, but luckily more laughs.

    8.5
It is clear that Season 7 of Curb Your Enthusiasm is taking place in an alternate reality where logic is not prevalent and the basic behavior of people is not common practice. Those who thought the Season 5 finale "The End" was crazy, each episode this year has topped that in the supernatural category.

However, the show is still funny, possibly as funny as ever, which I know is a bold statement, but one that definitely could be true. Larry was on his game tonight, Jerry was funny as was Richard. But no Jeff, or Jason Alexander? Or that nut Michael Richards? Come on.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is the best comedy on television right now. While I do not agree with some of the storylines we have seen lately, that statement cannot be debated.moreless
  • This is one of the best curb's episodes i've seen.

I loved the flashbacks of the wife's huband bein kill by a tyre iron, it waz so funny. I love how jerry and larry are like the same person and agree on almost everything. and the way they were fighting over the seat to let louis sit down, that was genuis. the ending is one of the best yet this season. can't wait 4 the nxt episode, and but espeically when they start filming the new episode of seinfeld that goin to be brillent. I have no idea what larry has in store for us all i know it's goin to be epic.....moreless
