Cheryl is telling Larry that Susie Green canceled lunch on her, once again. Stating that she had to go to the dentist, which Cheryl thinks is false. Meanwhile, they are watching the news and Larry sees a restaurant critic named, Andy Portico, who is very brutal. Apparently, Andy will be coming to the Larry's restaurant grand opening the following week. Larry realizes that Jeff's daughter and Andy's son go to the same school, so perhaps he can schmooze with Andy and get on his good side, therefore receiving a good review.
Jeff and Larry are at a health food store, and Larry is asking Jeff why Susie made up a lie to get out of having lunch with Cheryl. Jeff stands beside his wife's story. Larry is looking for colon cleanser for Cheryl. At the health food store, Larry sees a man who looks very familiar to him. It turns out to be the bald chef, Phil, that Larry and Jeff had hired, but this man is clearly wearing a toupée. Larry confronts Phil, and after speaking to him decides to fire him, as he hired him under false pretences.
On their way back to the office, Jeff stops by Sammy's school to drop off her lunch. At the school, parents and the children are playing dodge ball. Larry spots Andy Portico, and invites himself to play dodgeball. Andy also spots Larry and lets him know that he definitely will be reviewing his restaurant next week. During the game, Andy is throwing the ball quite hardly at the young children, and Larry is surprised. Andy throws the ball at Larry, which hits the ground and Larry retrieves it. They argue whether or not Larry is out, and a throwing the ball at each other really hard fight ensues. Larry throws the ball at Andy and hurts Andy's hand.
At the restaurant, the investors are appalled about Andy's hand, and about the chef. They ask Larry how he is planning on getting them out of their trouble, and ask Larry to apologize to Andy.
Larry stops by Andy's office, and Andy has a cast on each hand, as he broke both his thumbs. Larry apologizes to Andy, and Andy says he can't review the restaurant. Larry reveals that they lost the chef, and Andy offers a great chef that he knows, Guy Bernier. At the restaurant, the new chef signs the contract.
Larry is driving Cheryl to her lunch with Susie, but decides to get a carwash first. At the carwash, Cheryl is getting stomach cramps from the Colon Cleanse, and then Larry's car gets stuck. None of the workers can hear them honking their horn, and there's no way out as they are right in the middle of their wash. Cheryl decides she can't take it anymore, and gets out of the car in the wash, and runs out.
Back at the restaurant, the investors are making fine tunings to the restaurant, when the chef randomly starts cursing uncontrollably, but afterwards, acting as nothing happenened. They realize that he has Tourette's syndrome, and blame Andy Portico for hooking up Larry with Guy, probably knowing that he had Tourette's. The investors want to fire Guy as the kitchen is in full view from the dining area, but Larry says that they can't as Guy is a survivor. Larry had previously seen a code of numbers tattooed on Guy's arm.
At the grand opening, everything seems to be going well, from the uniforms to the waiter bells. Larry is speaking to Guy, and Guy reveals that he almost won the lottery, but was off by 1 number. He shows the humbers on his arms, then wipes them away with some water as they are now useless. Larry is dumbfounded, as now Guy is not really a survivor. Larry walks around welcoming and thanking his guests, when Guy has one of his episodes. Larry then repsonds with his own episode, Jeff continues with his own, and so does the entire restaurant, which erupts into laughter.
