I haven't laughed that much during an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm since....well Season 7, but this was still a really strong half hour of comedy. Larry David and Ricky Gervais, arguably two of the funniest people on the planet, working together? Pure genius. You also had another great comedian in Chris Parnell, but I thought having him as a sappy lackey of a husband was a really odd use for him.
So, many great things tonight though. Yeah, they borrowed two items from Seinfeld (the side-ler and lying about being the disruptive ones at a show) but it was a laugh a minute tonight. Ricky bringing an Extras DVD to the dinner party was the perfect pompous thing for him to do.
They need to find a way to have Ricky on the show again because this was easily an instant classic for Curb.moreless
