    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • When Digit counts out the money for buying the Betaboard, his wing is green.

      • At the part where everyone found out that the place where the encryptor chip was being taken to the black hole, it looked like they were at that green Cybersite and not at Tikiville.

    • QUOTES (0)

    • NOTES (5)

      • This is the third appearance of Slider and seventh appearance of Wicked.

      • For Real Clip: Bianca's Good Deed

      • This is the second part and last of Snelfu Snafu.

      • Math Topic: Spending Money
The Big Idea: To spend money wisely, compare the amount of money you have with the cost of the things you need to be sure you can afford your purchases.
        NCTM Links: Number & Operations

      • Three days before this broadcast, PBS affiliates sought to unify their schedules with the new format called PBS Kids Go! The new display put Cyberchase in a two-hour block with Arthur and two new shows: Maya & Miguel (totally new) and Postcards from Buster (Arthur spinoff and designated replacement for Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?).The PBS Kids Go! format reflected in all the Web site pitches at the end of these programs, new or not. Nelvana was not aware of this change when they submitted Cyberchase to PBS. Those who saw the premiere of this program and next, may have noticed the closed-captions stop just before the on-air display of the new Web site pbskidsgo.org boots itself up. No closed-captioning for that new Web site or Digit's closing sentence, "See you in cyberspace!"

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • When the Cybersquad goes to retrieve the Alphadeck, Inez remarks that a mountain in the distance looks like "Mt. Hackermore". This is a reference to the United States landmark, Mt. Rushmore, which represented the first 150 years of American history with sculptures of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. The only difference is that all four faces on "Mt. Hackermore" were Hacker.
