  • Filler + Gozu, GRRRRR WHEN WILL IT END?!

Exasperation. The most consistent emotion I've had throughout this entire episode. The episode isn't particularly bad by any means. It introduced a new character who is kind of interesting; Suman is like Gozu would say, a more douchey Kanda. However, he seems to have a weakness for the young little girl he saved Jessica despite. This concept of Suman bending his proud will to this little girl was the most compelling part of the episode, and yet it did so little to expand on that area. It only hinted at it and briefly showed a scene with him carrying a picture of assuming his daughter in a necklace, but that's it.

The other areas of the episode it did pretty averagely. It made clear who the antagonists were, it brought along a conflict, Gozu wasn't as annoying as he was in the witch episodes, and Jessica is just so overwhelmingly adorable. The problem is that how many of these fillers have we had so far? Like 4 or 5? Only a couple of them were worth watching. The hospital one was pretty good, the one with the level 2 akuma being good was absolutely excellent, and the rest were mediocre to bad. As a standalone filler it's not bad, but because of the episodes it precedes, it is. And honestly the score should be lower than a 6, but I gave it some brownie points because like Suman, I have a weakness for adorable and brave little children like Jessica.moreless
