Da Vinci’s City Hall

Show Summary

Dominic Da Vinci has left his post as coroner and police officer in Vancouver, B.C., and has moved on to politics. The series starts off as the newly elected mayor takes over Vancouver. Spun-off from the series: Da Vinci's Inquest, both shows are inspired by the life of Vancouver coroner-turned-mayor, Larry Campbell. The series was cancelled in February of 2006, even before the final episode aired.

  • In my 40 plus years of watching police/political type series' Da vinci's Inquest and Da vinci City Hall is the best. From the crime's to the leads and finally to solving this is a series you could really follow, understand and enjoy.moreless

The actors (all) are completely perfect in their roles. It just amazed me how perfect each had portrayed their roles. Every one is so convincing "the good, the bad and the ugly". The good you could really love and the bad you disliked with disgust. Thats how it should be. Comparing to all the United States (Hollywood) series', there is no comparison, Da vinci comes out on top every time. In all the series', mini series' that have ended or cancelled over the many decades I have watched television, Da Vinci's City Hall/Inquest is the only one I would like to see return!moreless
  • Da Vinci has moved on from Chief Coronor to mayor of Vancouver, now the sparks are going to fly... With his controversal ideas such as setting up a "Red Light" District, and cross training Fire firefighters and Police officers, Dominic Da Vinci may be amoreless

I found “Da Vinci's City Hall” started out a little slow in my opinion, but after a few episodes it has really come into its own and the gap between it and “Da Vinci’s Inquest,” finally seems to be narrowing. I have been wondering “whatever happened to the ongoing investigation of the corrupt Vancouver cop Brian Curtis?” ever since the spin-off series began. This week Brain Curtis returns, he apparently has ties to an ongoing investigation involving missing native boys being conducted by new coroner Nick Leary. I for one can’t wait to see Brain Curtis get his due... Da Vinci's City Hall is must-see television for me, it just seems to get more intense with every episode.moreless
