Set in Africa, this family series was based on the 1965 movie, "Clarence The Cross-Eyed Lion," and retained several of the original cast from that movie, with a few additions. The story unfolded around the wildlife preserve of Wameru, overseen by Dr. Marsh Tracy, with his daughter, Paula. He was helped by Jack Dane, another American, and a local, Mike Makula. The most popular stars of the show, however, were the animals, Clarence and Judy, a mischievious chimp, making this a very memorable show.moreless

Daktari is really A-MA-ZING! If everything on television these days are as good as Daktari, I don't think I'll ever remove myself from the television set.
