Show Summary

Two decades since viewers last saw them, the Ewings are back. Television's first family of drama, sabotage, secrets and betrayal gather at Southfork Ranch for the wedding of Bobby's adopted son, Christopher, to Rebecca Sutter. Also in attendance is John Ross, the son of J.R. and Sue Ellen, who returns to Dallas with Christopher's ex-girlfriend Elena Ramos, and discovers a major oil gusher on Southfork. When Bobby announces he intends to sell the ranch, John Ross fills him in on the discovery but Bobby refuses to allow drilling on Southfork as it goes against his late mother's wishes. John Ross enlists the help of none other than his estranged father J.R. to help him gain ownership of Southfork, but J.R. has an agenda of his own. Reunited for the first time since their breakup, Christopher and Elena realize someone else is responsible for the abrupt end of their relationship. They both point the finger at John Ross, but the real culprit turns out to be Christopher's mysterious new wife Rebecca. Meanwhile, the Ewings gain a new adversary when Bobby's wife Ann's past catches up with her.

Joining original cast members Larry Hagman (J.R. Ewing), Patrick Duffy (Bobby Ewing) and Linda Gray (Sue Ellen Ewing) are Josh Henderson (John Ross Ewing), Jesse Metcalfe (Christopher Ewing), Brenda Strong (Ann Ewing), Jordana Brewster (Elena Ramos), Julie Gonzalo (Rebecca Sutter) and Mitch Pileggi (Harris Ryland). Season 1 also features appearances from original "Dallas" cast members Charlene Tilton (Lucy Ewing), Steve Kanaly (Ray Krebbs) and Ken Kercheval (Cliff Barnes). The cast is joined in season 2 by Emma Bell (Emma Brown) and Kuno Becker (Andres "Drew" Ramos), with Ted Shackelford and Joan Van Ark reprising their roles as Gary and Valene "Val" Ewing. A third season started airing in early 2014. The series was developed for TNT by Cynthia Cidre and cancelled in October 2014.

  • Please kill Elana

Please, Please, Please get rid of Elana. I don't care how you do it, but just PLEEEEEZZZZEEEE get rid of her! I am so sick of looking at this so called 'actress' that has one, and only ONE, facial expression. And they call her an actress and pay her! OMG! I am so sick of her frowned forehead and her crooked left brow. She has the very same expression whether she's happy, sad, mad, glad, disgusted, thrilled and on and on. Get rid of this B rated 'actress' and get someone who can perform with other facial expressions without the scorned, confused STUPID look that she has! Thank you for letting me vent. I have wanted her off the show from the very first I ever saw off my chest, now get her off my fav show! Did I say PLEASE?moreless
  • Dramatic Nonsense

The show started interesting on season 1, but on season 2 and 3 is going just nonsense and absurd, and oh yeah they just put sex scenes to fill. everyone betrays everyone, seriously this is just nonsense and too dramatic and not on any good way, this is like a bad soap opera. i'm just waiting for the moment bring back JR saying his brain was transplanted into another person

CANNOT wait until the new series starts. I watched the old Dallas when it was on, and this new show with some of the same prior cast and new cast is GREAT................
  • this dallas is great

love this show hate to see it end. wonder when it will be back. I wish all of these shows were on all the time they show them for such a short period of time and then you wait months before you see them again.
  • Disappointed

The last episode of Dallas with John Ross' tri-sexual relationship was a huge disappointment. The original Dallas had a scrip of brilliant moves, legal & illegal, were interesting to watch. I do not watch for sexual escapades. The script is dull and throwing in sex scenes doesn't add anything to the show.
