  • The Last Hurrah

Easily the weakest episode thus far, but there were still some good parts to it. It is odd that the real lead of the show is such a villain in John Ross, but this makes Dallas unique from the rest. This week he keeps trying and trying even harder and eventually all his trickery will come back to haunt him. They had the suspenseful ending I guess, but I don't think this is what breaks Christopher and Rebecca up, something else probably will down the line.moreless
  • #104 'The Last Hurrah'

    5.5
Hm, not very entertaining but not strictly bad either. It was just weak. John Ross wanted Rebecca to do dirty work for him since he discovered her secret (she's the one who sent an e-mail to Elena). But when she refuses to take photographs of Mitch's son doing drugs (his 3rd strike would send him away) he threatens to expose her to Christopher. So Rebecca figures out it's time to tell the truth herself - that's actually how the episode ended. Marta del Sol (who happens to be a bipolar nymphomaniac with the tendency of stalking her ex-boyfriends) did the job right and it looks like JR's gonna get Southfork.

Christopher's scenes were boring. He's either talking about his ladies to papa or talking about the fact how much he actually wants to earn being a Ewing. Ann didn't have much to do in this episode and Sue Ellen might be falling for JR again. And Charlene Tilton (Lucy Ewing) did not age well. I was disappointed by this episode, it's getting boring, slow and uneventful. (5.5/10)moreless
