The second half of the season premiere was strong as well. JR finally got into the fold and started mixing things up, but it's also getting a little difficult to keep track of what everyone's greedy aspirations are.
I like the new direction of the season, and this was certainly a solid hour of television.
J.R. and John Ross strike a deal to wrestle control of Ewing Energies away from Bobby and Christopher, while the newly revealed Pamela Rebecca Barnes schemes with John Ross to take half of Christopher's shares as part of her father's revenge against the Ewings. Meanwhile, Harris Ryland's mother Judith proves to be just as ruthless as her son.
