All throughout the episode, J.R.'s office phone is his regular multi-line speaker phone, but at the end of the episode, the phone has changed to a regular 'home style' phone of the 80's.
Kristin: You can't scare me.
J.R.: It takes brains to know when to be scared, honey. And since that's in short supply around here, I'm gonna help you. Now is the time to be scared.
J.R.: You gave me quite a surprise this evening.
Sue Ellen: Oh?
J.R.: You managed to maintain a certain decorum.
Sue Ellen: Sorry to disappoint you darling.
J.R.: What?
Sue Ellen: You expected me to be embarrassed in front of your family tonight a dinner. Well, I wasn't was I? I was a perfect lady. Charming, witty, and sober.
J.R.: I swear you're heading at ninty miles an hour towards a nervous breakdown. Gonna have to do something about those ravings of yours.
Sue Ellen: No, J.R. I am not raving, I am not drunk. I am just fine. And you're not going to put me back in that sanitarium.
J.R.: Who's going to stop me?
Sue Ellen: Bobby's going to stop you. He's not going to let you put me away.
J.R.: I wouldn't count on that. You know I always get what I want.
Sue Ellen: Tell me J.R., which slut are you going to stay with tonight?
J.R.: What difference does it make? Whoever it is, it's got to be more interesting than the slut I'm looking at right now.
