Eventually, the showdown between Sue Ellen and Mandy Winger happened. It was about time after weeks of building up, the two met and fought one another. The acting was superb.





This episode provided much support for supporters of gay adoption. The writer never intended this, but the dialogue between Ray and Jenna and Pam Christopher can be view from this angle.





JR was marvellous in the hotel room when he met the Justice Department Official. He use ambiguous phases and spotted the hidden camera to entrap him into offering a bride. JR maintained his dignity when he left the Ewing Building with his son.





I am disappointed that Pam looks set to be written out of the show. There is no doubt in my mind she is dead. I will miss her.





The final episode of the year had Bobby steeping into a shower compare to him stepping out of one at the beginning of the year.
