This, the second part of a two-part story and also concluding the first season of Dallas was a fine example of the show and also had a good cliffhanger.
Sue Ellen and John Ross Ewing III's lives are in the balance, there's a question over who is the father of Sue Ellen's child and that was it I think, regarding what cliffhangers there were.
I love it whenever Bobby and Ray teamed up and this episode showcased that great partnership, when they were involved in Lucy's drug-taking storyline. In the second half of this season Dallas turned into a serial, moving away from the standalone stories which have been used since the pilot episode. I've liked how the various plots moved onto another one. It was good how they showed Lucy's reaction to the engagement being called off between her and Kit.
Looking forward to watching season 2 where things get really interesting, particularly with the launch of spin-off Knots Landing.moreless
