      • When Cliff is looking through Bobby's wallet, the driver's license lists Bobby's birthday as 11-1-66, making him a little over 12 in this episode. Later in the series we learn Bobby was born in 1950.

      • As Cliff is outside the "Regular John's" restaurant he finds a note written and signed by Bobby. Later at the railroad tracks he finds among other things, Bobby's wallet which contains Bobby's driver's license which would be signed by Bobby also. The signatures are different on the note and license but are supposed to be written by the same hand.

      • The kidnapper called Will is shown late at night burying the ransom note across from the entrance to Southfork. But it shouldn't be late at night it should be early in the day because before this scene we see Bobby and J.R. eating breakfast with the family then leaving for work and after the "burying scene" it is still daylight. It is still the same day because Bobby and J.R. have on the same clothes. Another blooper in the "burying scene" is the kidnapper is driving a white car. In other scenes the kidnappers' car is dark blue.

      • Notice J.R.'s pants as he is leaving the breakfast table. They are dark colored. As he's walking across the street to go into Ewing Oil his pants are now a light gray color. When he enters the office his pants are back to the original color.

      • You may also notice that when Bobby picks up the wallet at the railroad tracks there is a gold card(credit card type) that reads TGA Commanders Club Card. That card is from the 1970's movie Airport. In the movie, you will notice the card trying to be used by old lady stoway Miss. ADA Quansat wanting to get a cup of tea before her flight in the Commanders Club. The card is confiscated by Miss. Tonya Livingston after she reads that the card belongs to a woman by the name of Gertrude!

      • When the kidnappers are watching film of the Ewing family they identify Lucy as J.R.'s granddaughter. Lucy is J.R.'s niece. Besides, J.R. had no known children at the time of this episode so how could he have any grandchildren?
