This was a mediocre episode. Plots that held a lot of promise at the beginning of the season are developing poorly. J.R’s attempted takeover of WestStar is just too complicated without any ending in sight. It’s crazy, J.R in bed Kimberley at the beginning to where is he is at war with her now Sue Ellen and Pearce are beginning to be unrealistic. Pearce and his family are safe, leave at that. I would prefer watching Sue Ellen and Pearce together without having to meet for the pretence of business.

The episode is shoddy workmanship. The episode is shoddy workmanship. It had the potential to be excellent but the plots are too many and under developed and poorly executed.

Despite this I enjoy J.R’s famous grin, Clayton facing murder changes, and Booby refusing to give a bribe. I look forward to the remainder of the season.
