Sue Ellen goes to see Dr. Elby and confesses "I think I shot J.R." During that conversation, she makes reference to when she "woke up at the airport this morning." At the very least, that scene would have had to have taken place the day following waking up in the car at the airport (Gary had caught his plane to Dallas by then, plus there was breakfast at Southfork prior to the conversation).
Bobby: This lawsuit of yours, Marilee, it's a long shot. Marilee: Bobby, I don't want to talk to you about it. Now, my lawyers will… Bobby: Your lawyers will do exactly what you tell them. Now, if J.R. survives, this will be a long and very costly fight. And J.R. just fights for the fun of it.
(Cliff was suggested to stay in the police station until his revolver was checked fully; while he was playing cards with the detective) Detective: (noticing an attractive woman –Pamela- behind the glass, coming towards them) My goodness, will you look at what just walked in here? Cliff: (noticing Pam) That's my sister. Detective: I spent the night with the wrong Barnes.
J.R.:(still seriously injured and with one remaining bullet in his body) Well, the geological report of that property was kind of iffy anyhow, so – No, don't you call Bobby. He's just there to answer the phone.
