  • Another great installment!

So, back again, with this episode entitled: "The Lost Child" (Don't ask why).

Bobby meets a boy, and he instantly takes a liking in him (I don't know if it's just my corrupted imagination, but this whole boy-under-Bobby's-protection is just TOO gay-like (that's NOT bad)). Well, they talk, and play, and go riding and hug and cry when it's time for the boy to move away. OK, NOT such a great idea to show people how much Bobby wants a child by having him fall in "love" with the first kid he sees. (Is THIS the lost child?)

    Sick Mama:

So, Pam's pregnant, and she fears, fears, fears. For some reason, EVERY TIME she tries to tell Bobby about her disease, someone butts in... oh yeah, I forgot, the Storyline has to spand AT LEAST through Four episodes. Anyway, she goes riding, when Miss Ellie tells her that Bobby and the Boy are riding too. And, there she goes, riding like an Amazon, with a Child GROWING inside of her might I add, and, then, the horse comes across those fabulous rattle snakes and starts going nuts and Pam falls off the horse. Of course. And, then, she looses her baby. Of course. Honey, if you WANT your baby, DON'T GO RIDING! And, if you ABSOLUTELY have to ride, just go slower than a turtle does. That'll help you, stupid. Then, the moment of truth arrives, and Pam tells Bobby all about her disease, 5 episodes after she found out. And Bobby is shocked, and gets wetty eyes (He NEVER cries. That goes without saying, he's TOO much of a man for that). He realizes that John Ross might die too, but he doesn't care, and he immediately forgives Pam for keeping this from him. They hug and the tremendous moment where Pam cries like crazy arrives: "Oh Bobby, the ONE thing you wanted, I can't give it to you..." In the midst of all of this, Bobby finds time to start a verbal fight with Pam's brother, Cliff... and Cliff tells Digger that he has a grandson (John Ross of course, haven't you been studying your homework?). Now, Digger doesn't care that he HAS a grandson, or that his son pucked a married woman. He only cares that Jock Ewing has him. Because THAT'S the normal reaction. Back to Pam: Pam now is rid of the dilemma of either risking having this baby, or having an abortion. This was probably their easiest way out of it, without causing controversy. We have Kristin and J.R. for that. Actually, I don't know if I like the resolution of this Storyline or not. But, Pam loosing her baby TWICE and by falling off of something BOTH times? OK, it's "DALLAS", it's a soap. (Is THIS the reason for the episode's title?)

    The Bitch and the Unfaithful:

Meanwhile, Sue Ellen has started seeing a psychologist, and Kristin and J.R. have been pucking their heads all over town. And Sue Ellen KNOWS that. And, she doesn't do anything. WHY doesn't she do anything? Is she THAT weak? Oh, good lord, bitch, take that bitch sister of yours and start a Dynasty-esque fight with her! That'll teach her a lesson! Of course, the episode is once again filled with those DELICIOUS fights between J.R. and Sue Ellen, which I can't seem to get enough of.

    "You BASTARD."
