  • This episode deals primarily with the relationship between Dalziel and Pascoe with a disturbing case to boot. 5 stars.

Just when Andy and Peter's friendship seems to be coming back to normal things go more than a little haywire. A jury on courtcase that Peter had been working lets the man go. Everyone involved is distraught and blames Peter, including Peter himself. Andy tries to console him but things get even worse when Peter covers for the victims Father when he kills the man tha killed his son.

We, the viewers, are forced to think about what we would do if we were put in a similar situation.

Gut wrenching at times, I often found myself yelling at the TV torn between Peter confiding in Andy and willing Andy not to follow his famous gut.

That said I really enjoyed the comedy inserted to relieve the tension- like the television producers insisting that Andy put on more make up.

Most of all I liked the return of Dalziel and Pascoe's relationship. It had been very tense this past season only to leave us with them on better terms and Andy deciding what he is going to do about Pascoe.

Looking forward to this program returning (as always).
