    Patty begins to suspect Purcell of withholding vital information; Ellen uncovers a decades-old secret from Patty and Purcell's past. I'm loving this series, this episode wasn't as good as the last couple it was slower and not much was revealed. I like the flashbacks that revealed more on Purcell and Patty's relationship. The final scene was good and dramatic. I cant wait to see it all resolved and find out what exactly is going on. Very intregueing I give this episode of Damages season two " I Knew Your Pig " 8.5 out of 10 it wasnt as good as the prevous episodes it was a bit slower.moreless

  • Katie makes a return (boo), Purcell withholds vital information, Ellen does a little snooping, and Marcia Gay Hayden continues to rock.

    I found Hurt's performance a little flat in this episode, I don't know if it's supposed to be his character, or the actor's poor acting. Perhaps it's the writing, maybe they need to reveal a bit more of Purcell's intentions, keeping it secretive might alienate the viewers (um ok me). Is it me or are the episodes moving at a snail's pace? I excused the first two episodes because it was set up. But now it's just kind of slow. Slow, but interesting, so we'll see if it starts to pick up.

    More Thoughts on 'I Knew Your Pig':

    - The introduction of Josh Restin was interesting, but do we need yet another player? Well at least he's easy on the eyes, and reminded me that I miss What About Brian?

    - Still suspicious of the agents.

    - AHA, Michael is Purcell's son woooo.

    - Does he have a crush on Ellen? Could that work in Ellen's favour?

    - Marcia Gay Harden is awesome, intense even. I can't wait to see more interaction with Patty

    - Who is that junkie that pawned the ruby ring?

    Bottom Line: I like the development of the story, I hope the pacing picks up a tad.

    Well, not every episode can be a series classic as this was probably the weakest Season 2 installment thus far.

    But it's still an incredible 40 minute thrill ride and this episode progressed the ever-thickening plot even more. We discovered that the energy company has someone in West Virginia who knows something and need him taken out.

    I still do not like Marcia Gay Harden's character as her scenes always cause me to zone out, but the three main stars Rose Byrne, Glenn Close and William Hurt all have me absolutely hooked.

    With Lost and Damages on the same night Wednesday is the highlight of my week.moreless

  • Finally a show that was created with precision for the viewer. Imagine a drama filmed like a horror. The flashbacks bring the intensity level to the present is awesome. Glenn Close is excellent. The addition of William Hurt is off the chart.moreless

    Marcia Gay Harden is almost as slick as an oil drum. The revelation of the kid, I believe is much more involved in the story line. Hurt explodes off the screen. What a pleasure to watch such a good cast in action. Ellen still enraged by her fiancees death, you can see her picking at Close like a fresh scab. Awesome direction of where the story might go. I am so in this for the long hall. You can see even Tom starting to get intrigued in this case. I wonder where Timothy Olyphant ends up, and how he is involved in the conclusion. Simply awesome!!!!moreless
