Damages, TV's most addictive show, gave its second episode of the third season and I have to say, I was a bit let down. I was still on the edge of my seat for the entire episode, but it wasn't nearly as exciting or jaw-dropping as the premiere. I've already grown a bit tired of the Tobin family and Ellen and Patty need to clash again. Ellen not wanting to go Duke Nukem on somebody is just not the Ellen Parsons we all know and love. But Glenn Close is fantastic in the role of Patty Hewes yet again, and any other female leads in a drama series don't even bother submitting your name for Emmy consideration. You have no chance.

But something big better happen next week. This was good, but not great to me.moreless

    • Phil: Hold on! We've been stuck on the apartment for seven months. There must be some way we can settle this. Patty: We have. I'm not selling. Patty's lawyer: I think the issue here is that my client doesn't think of this as just another asset. This is her home. Phil: Her home? Your client doesn't know what a home is!
