Dan Dare

Dan Dare "hitches a ride" with the aliens who are taking water from Earth and is brought to their planet.

A strange bug-like alien race start coming to earth to steal it's water or icebergs to turn into water. Dan Dare is sent to investigate.

Dan arrives at the planet, only to find that the inhabitants are hostile and have sent an invasion fleet to conquer Earth.It is up to Dan and his crew to stop them.

Dan and his companions journey to the nearest star, but the voyage turns into a competition when the Russians are determined to beat Dan to it.

While investigating Dan's "death", Dan's crew encounter a strange swarm-like Plutonian lifeform and begin to realise he may not be dead after all.

While under the command of Col Lasker on Pluto, Dan is sentenced to death on charges of murder. His crew arrive to find him presumed dead and investigate his death.

Dan and co. befriend a pack of alien creatures living on the planet within the sun.

As the title suggests. Once through the sun, Dan and his team-mates discover a planet inside the sun. I don't know how they survive without their suits in that heat, but it makes a good story.

Dan Dare gets more than he bargained for when he meets the Mekon.

Dan Dare Volunteers to lead the first manned mission to Venus.
