It's the semi-finals and Kyle, Brandy, Jennifer and Bristol are trying to get a place in the Finals. They will have to dance the Argentine Tango, Waltz, Paso Doble, Samba and Cha Cha Cha.

Amazing show tonight. I do not know where to even begin. I guess I should talk about my favorites of the night and that was Brandy & Maks' paso. She had the power and the passion and her solo seemed to be very seamless to the point where I almost forgot that they had to do a solo. I'm still not sure if it will be her or Jennifer to take the title. Now I should also mention the blunders of the night and that of course falls to Bristol's second performance. I've been making a plug for her to make a strong 3rd place finish (what with Alaska backing her up) but her first performance showed me she was a contender. I still think Kyle and Lacey will be going home tomorrow but there is no shame in it. This was further proof that these "stars" can dance.

Very good, but..

Okay. Let's get this straight. Why is Bristol Pailin still on the show?! C'mon, people! She's not even close to the others competitors and they still let her on the show. Nothing personal, I actually think she is really sweet and all, but her time is more than up.

After my outflow, let's do this review by couples.

Brandy and Makz: after all the very tense episode from last week, Maks came out yesterday very calm. Well, as calm as Maks can be. At their first dance, they did a very good job gettin a 27 for score. Their tango was really, really good but in my opinion it didn't get near to Erin and Maks' tango from last season nor does Brandy and Maks chemistry. Strong couple for the finals.

Jennifer and Derek: one of my very favourites for this season's title. Jennifer is so very gracious when she dances and her perfomance makes you almost drown. Her cha cha cha was very good, but i really liked her waltz. Very sweet and simple and gracious. Two perfect scores for the night, given her the perfect 60. If the people is thinking straight, definitelly in the finals and one of the strongest couples to win the trophy.

Bristol and Mark: yes, she has done an amazing job learning the dances and she has good technique but she just doesn't cut it for me. I liked her paso and her second dance just didn't click for me.

Kyle and Lacey: the most charismatic couple EVER to be on the show. As Carrie Ann said in the first episode, I have a cruch on Kyle too. His and Lacey's chemistry and friendship is the sweetest and funniest thing. Both dances were AMAZING, making me put his tango right there with Jennifer's. Lacey's choreographies are incredible. For me, they're right there at the top with Jennifer and Derek.moreless
