Meet the new celebrity dance contestants and their professional dance partners. The women perform the Waltz and the men perform the Cha Cha.
  • A great start to a new season!

I came in hesitant as to the new celebs, falling for O'Hurley, Monaco, and Big Mac last season. Still, I'm glad Edyta and Louis got partner upgrades. Jonathan has another elegant partner, so I'm betting he's glad.

I'd recommend this to anyone who asks about it, so jump in! It's gonna be fun!
  • Reality????

I hate all reality shows. Not only that but they are not reality. I believe that people who watch these types of shows are really dumbing down society. And even worse are the people that are behinde making these types of shows. I just wish that one day these people will sit back and reilize that they are making america dumber. And america, stop watching this garbage. I Love Tv, but I refuse to watch something that is so unoriginal that they can't even muster up a script. Now my last attact is that these are NOT Reality Shows. These are NON SCRIPTED SHOWS. or GAME SHOWS. Get it right.

  • Great ballroom dancing with fun celebrities. What more do you need?

Tatum O'Neal and Nick Kosovich. The waltzed and they looked okay, but they didn't seem to have a lot of personality together. I think they'll be gone midway through.

My personal favorites: Lisa Rinna and Louis van Amstel. She just has a great personality and seems so down to earth. I read an interview with her husband Harry Hamlin and he mentioned how hard she was working on the dancing. She's very graceful and extremely flexible!!! That woman bends in ways that make my muscles shudder. She was very nervous tonight and it showed a little, but I think that she'll do well and hang in there quite awhile.

Stacy Keibler and Tony Dovolani. Well, she's not what I expected from a wrestler!!! She's beautiful and graceful, but I didn't get that much of a sense of personality and for me it's about both: the dancing and the way they speak while on the show. She'll be around awhile cuz she'll get all the guys' votes.

Master P and Ashly DelGrosso. Wow, did she ever get the booby prize. According to ABC, she was originally paired with 16 yr old rapper, Romeo, but Romeo hurt himself playing basketball and had to drop out of the competition. His dad, Master P, decided to stand in for him and only had a couple of weeks to train. (Awwww, that's sweet!) What wasn't so sweet was his lack of effort and then lame excuses. I get that he didn't have much time, but he could have at least tried to dance with a little dignity. Hopefully, he'll be the one voted off. Sorry, Ashly, it really sucks for you!

New mom, Tia Carrere is paired with Max. Max is hot, in a gruff Russian guy kinda way and Tia is just so darn cute. She wants to lose the baby fat and he wants to win, win, win! She'll be around for awhile.

Ahhhh, Drew Lachey. They danced very well together. It was a cha cha that was quick and bold and fun to watch. She seems a little intense (maybe even angry/temperamental, I don't know) but she whipped him into shape and she had the best line of the night when she told him in practice, "This is ballroom dancing not boy band dancing!" I'm picking ol' Drew as a front runner for the winner.

I have to give George Hamilton praise. He has four broken ribs and bad knees and the guy did pretty darn well. I liked his self-effacing humor and while he liked to joke, when the time came, he got down to brass tacks. Not the best dancer, but not the worst either. He'll be there a few weeks.

I didn't think I was going to care one way or another for Jerry Rice, but after watching him and listening to him speak, he's now one of my faves. He's pretty quiet and you can tell that he worked hard at getting the steps. He seems like a perfect gentleman on the dance floor and his dance partner, Anna T. was just too cute. I hope he's around for many more episodes.

I can't get really excited about this couple. Giselle Fernandez and Jonathan Roberts were pretty good, but forgettable. They aren't going to grab any votes from me unless I see something noteworthy.

The funny man of the night. No grace, can't dance, but sure can poke fun at himself. While ESPN guy, Kenny Mayne was amusing, I wish he would take the competition a little more seriously. To explain, he tries very hard on the floor, but then afterward just falls all over himself to make light of his bad dancing. It's okay Kenny, not everyone is Fred Astaire! Just do your best and we'll laugh along with you -- when it's appropriate.
