  • Season Two ends with lots of filler, a last dance for the Final Three, and the Mirrorball Trophy is presented to.....

It was strangely, overstuffed and just right, imo.

The first hour was 99.99% filler, but some was kinda fun and expected on network spectacles like this. I liked seeing the eliminated couples again. I'm a sucker for a good Up-Close and Personal, as ABC SPorts called them ages ago, so the talking head taped segments were okay. Until?

The second hour was made up of different footage of , essentially, the same material! GAH! Still, I'd put in two and a half hours a week (not counting voting time)for eight weeks, I wasn't going to give up on the grand finale.

Stacy,Jerry, and Drew were pretty classy, imo, and did right by themselves, their competitors, their partners, family, and the show. All were gracious and kind to the others. Jerry's "attempt" to "steal" the mirrorball from Drew was funnier by seeing Drew and Tom hanging on his arms "stopping" Jerry Rice!

Mary J. Blige has a lovely voice but her song choice felt off, even for a slower Latin dance. Why we had to have Mary J. sing in front of a screen of our dancers, instead of the last three couples maybe (in a kind of Last Dance) might've been better.

Glad there seems to be less controversy, if any at all really. The most consistent, technical and creative dancer took the trophy fairly.

    I'm ready for a new season already!moreless
  • Drew and Cheryl Win!

Alright, here it goes WAAAAAHOOOOOOO! I am so glad that Drew and Cheryl won. It is who I was routing for since the beginning. I was also a huge Fan of Stacy and Tony's too. Its sad to see that they only got third but I was what I predicited going into last nights show. If you understand how the math works I feel it is was pretty easy to figure out. As soon as Stacy and Tony were eliminated I knew for a fact that Drew and Cheryl had won ( and so did Drew and Cheryl). Drew even said he was doing the math, so he figured it out and that was obvious because he didn't look nervse at all he knew the title was his. Eventhough the show ended actually as I thought I still really enjoyed every minute of it (did anyone else notice that Tatuam was drunk?)

Now about the dances, Jerry's was one of his best but like all of his dances there are moments in it where he is just standing there doing nothing, he could at least be in some type of pose.

Stacey's was hot hot hot. I really enjoyed it, it was one of her bests too! She really deserved those 10's.

Drew's was so great, you can really tell he loves the jive. If you go back and look at the beginning of it he was a little sloppy (but really hardly noticable because he is just that good) But I do feel he should have got a better make than Jerry. They both recieved three 9's, I was thinking Bruno was going to bust out a 10 for him. Oh well I guess, he still won but it would have been nive to see him get a 10 on his fav dance!

Lastly it was fun seeing all the dancers dance again, I was hoping for new routines though.

Drew and Cheryl are on the view tomorrow check it out!moreless
  • Very pleased with the outcome!!!!

I will admit when Stacey came in third place, I was surprised, but Drew winning made up for it. As much as I liked Jerry Rice, I did not feel he should win the whole competition. Mary J. Blige's two performances were awesome.

My reason for liking this show is you have celebrities stepping out of their "confort zone" and doing something different. This show IMHO can show other folks, it's never too late to try something different.

Highlights for me: Jerry Rice wiggling his sexy manly hips for one last dance. Ahhhhhh. The jump Drew did over his partner amazing!!! I will admit, I could have done without seeing Master P and his stiff dancing!!! Yuck.

When Mary performed her fist song, the couple dancing was awesome. The female dancer lifted up her leg, and I was so jealous!!! I miss being that flexible.

    This was a good finale.moreless
