  • This show eliminated Monique which was not surprising.

Monique and Louis were eliminated - and I think he has to take part of the blame for it. Like Len said - it isn't like diving where you get a higher scores if you take on a more difficult routine. The most annoying thing about the whole night was Monique's mother - twice she came out onto the dance floor. First when the elimination was announced and then at the end when Monique and Louis were supposed to have their final dance! It is one thing to be supportive. It is another to try and steal the spotlight!!!! Not Cool!moreless

  • QUOTES (12)

    • Louis van Amstel: (after his partner, Monique Coleman, was eliminated) Whatever I threw at her, she never said no. She's a perfect example, that if you want something bad enough, you can do it.

    • Comments by the Judges about Mario Lopez:

Len Goodman: Mario, without a doubt, is the most talented of all our celebrities. He can do things that none of the other celebrities can do.
Carrie Ann Inaba: What's missing from Mario's performance is fluidity. He goes from move to move to move. It's precise, but he's forgetting about everything that's happening between the steps.
Bruno Tonioli: The standard is so high, whatever happens is going to be amazing.

    • Comments by the Judges about Joey Lawrence:

Len Goodman: He's the most accomplished ballroom dancer in this whole series.
Carrie Ann Inaba: The only problem with Joey's dancing is that he gets a little locked in his chest.
Bruno Tonioli: You can see the pin-sharp execution of the step with his feet.

    • Comments by the Judges about Monique Coleman:

Len Goodman: Monique comes to the floor totally committed.
Carrie Ann Inaba: She's disconnected. It all feels quite fake.
Bruno Tonioli: She has the most beautiful arms in the competition. She seems to give the same facial expression in all the dances.

    • Comments by the Judges about Emmitt Smith:

Len Goodman: He's funky. He is a true, cool dude.
Carrie Ann Inaba: What I love about Emmitt the most is the way he moves his head. It goes with his body.
Bruno Tonioli: Technically, Emmitt needs to work on his footwork. We want to see good posture. Give it the edge. Give it precision.

    • Edyta Sliwinska: It's going to be a hard decision, because we have to choose dances that are good for us, and the audience, and the judges.

    • Emmitt Smith: The pressure right now is really awful. Performing is nothing. The Results Show is the toughest moment.

    • Unknown male audience member: I am so sick of Mario! The women want him... and the men want him too!

    • Mario Lopez: (what it would take to score a perfect 30 points from the judges) Maybe the stars have to be aligned. Maybe everyone has to be in a good mood.

    • Joey Lawrence: If we're blessed to be here next week, we're just going to keep it going.

    • Emmitt Smith: When you have a score that's low, you wanna come back and give a great performance.

    • Mario Lopez: I promised Karina I wasn't gonna cry, but I got all watery. Then when I concentrated on not crying, I thought I was going to forget my steps.
